Role and Responsibilities in Customer Service (Air & Sea):

•Aqua Air Logistics is one of the established global freight forwarders operating all over the globe.
•Based on bookings from Consignees check with shippers for cargo readiness.
•Forwarding booking details to agents for local arrangements based on shipment terms.
•Coordinating with origin agents for cargo pickup, flight / shipping line schedule and documents requirements.
•Verifying the documents to meet Qatar Customs regulations & requirements.
•Updating consignees about shipments status and arrival details.
•Following up with origin agents for origin documents and their Debit Notes.
•Verifying agents’ debt notes and forward to accounts if all in order.
•Inform documentation team to send Arrival Notice to consignees up on arrival.
•Releasing Delivery Orders to consignees.
•Prepare invoices and dispatching to respective consignees with all supporting documents.

Role and Responsibilities in Operations (Air, Sea & Land):

Import Activities

•Verifying documents whether all in order with Qatar customs regulations and requirements.
•Sending pro-forma invoices to consignees for advance duty payment.
•Arranging for delivery order collection form shipping line / Airline.
•Coordinating with clearing agents for customs filing and duty payments.
•Forwarding documents to customers for duty payment and make arrangements for any special approvals required.
•Coordinating with transporters for delivery arrangements.
•Make arrangements for customers additional requirements (Labours / Forklift / Crane, warehousing etc., )
•Follow up with all vendors for their Debit note with supporting documents and forward the same to account if all in order.
•Preparing final invoice to customers and dispatch the same along with supporting documents.


Export Activities

•Place booking with carrier up on confirmation received from shipper.
•Make arrangements for cargo pick up and documents attestation.
•Coordinating with transporter, clearing agents for completing customs formalities and offload cargo for planned flight / vessel.
•Prepare shipping / AWB instructions and submit with airline / carrier.
•Arrange to release BL / AWB upon cargo departure.
•Follow up with all vendors for their Debit note with supporting documents and forward the same to account if all in order.
•Preparing final invoice to customers and dispatch the same along with supporting documents.

Pricing to Agents:

•Quote to agent local clearance and delivery (DAP / DDU / DDP) shipments and EXW & FOB rates for Export.
•Follow up with them for shipment confirmation on our quoted rates.
•Negotiating on rates quoted if required.
•Once shipment confirmed, will follow up for documents and confirm them to airlift the cargo if all in order.
•Processing import clearance up on arrival.
•Update delivery status to agents once done.


Role and Responsibilities in LCL Consolidation:

•Up on receiving pre-alerts from consolidators, update shipment details to respective consignees.
•Prepare import manifest for customs filing.
•Update Hamad port team for container yard movement.
•Arrange to collect Delivery Orders from carrier up on shipment arrival.
•Instruct documentation team to send Cargo Arrival Notices to respective consignees.
•Release Delivery Order to respective consignees
