The Quality Improvement Nurse shall be responsible for monitoring the implementation of all
nursing quality assurance and quality improvement activities, as well as policies and procedures, all of which are planned, designated and prepared and approved by the Directorate of Nursing Services.
Collects data presented in monthly unit-based monitoring reports, conduct cycle based on
identified problems using FOCUS (Find, Organize, Clarify, Understand and Select a process to
improve) PDCA (Plan. Do, Check, Act) to improve unit performance for submission to the Nursing
Quality Improvement Office.
