Reporting to the Project Manager, responsible for overall management of the Engineering Department consisting of Architectural, Civil & MEP Departments. Leading a team of Architects, Structural Engineer, MEP Manager, MEP Engineers, BIM team (for a BIM Project all major works Revit modelled and coordinated first and shop drawings extracted from the same) Auto Cad Technicians & Material Engineers to complete the production and coordination of shop drawings, material submittals and other technical submittals, including all the Engineering works by Sub-Contractors involved. Also Coordination with, Client & Engineer, Commercial Department for all Design Changes, Procurement Department and PQM in preparing Project close-out documents.
Overall responsibility for the activities of technical office including preparation of shop drawings using Architects & CAD team, material / technical submittals, method statements, review of sub-contractors design/methods, coordination of their activities, weekly / monthly reports to a consultant, attend/conduct Progress & Design meetings, preparation of minutes for the same, prepare the required formal correspondences with all parties involved, etc.
Worked for reputed client ADCO on the infrastructure projects involving the Construction of 53Km of roads networks & causeways and service culverts for GASCO with associated activities such as asphalt works, concrete works, Rip-Rap for slope protection, gabions, road signs, road markings, contingency future ducts, split ducts for existing service line protection.
Overall responsibility for the activities of technical office including preparation of shop drawings using CAD, material / technical submittals, method statements, coordination of their activities.
I worked as a member of a design team for the above mentioned large scale & award winning projects and responsibilities includes concept design, case studies, area analysis of the master plan components, allocation of areas and space utilization, presentation drawings, working drawings and detailing, coordination with the structural and MEP consultants, supervising a team of draftsmen and junior architects for timely production of the drawings.
