• Develop the commissioning program, manage its implantation and ensure that adequate resources have been allocated on the ongoing projects: 300/132/33kV S/S Jahra “X”, 300/132/33kV S/S Kifan “W”, 33/11kV S/S Um Al Aish “M”, 132/11kV S/S Saad Al Abdulla “A”, “B”, “C” & “D”.
• Responsible for day to day management of Project Qurain “W” S/S 300/132/33/11 kV in West Kuwait. Contract negotiations on behalf of MELCO with subcontractors: CCC- main civil subcontractor, Minimax - fire fighting system, Siemens - telemetry and telecommunication, ABB - intertrip communication, China Cable - HV power feeder cables, Viscas - HV power transformer cables and cable tails for OHL 300kV
• Managing key stages of Project:
1. Engineering (civil engineering, detail electrical design and engineering),
2. Procurement (main equipment procurement: GIS equipment and power transformers, BOP procurement and small BOP procurement)
3. Construction (civil works, electrical installation works, commissioning and testing works and energization)
• To ensure that project schedule is followed strictly. This schedule I have prepared in Microsoft Project Software and timely submitted to the Client MEW and main office in Japan.
• Supervising executed staff personnel and communication the results of progress (daily, weekly and monthly)
• Estimating Project costs and cost control (by Material Requisition Form, delivery notes, invoices and other supporting documents) during the entire project lifecycle
• Establish, track and control project scope and risk
• Establish of Project Chart Organization, Quality Management, Safety Management, Material Management, Site Office Management, Tools and Equipment control, Drawing and Documentation control

- Manage the erection and commissioning phase of the project and develop the erection and commissioning strategy and manages its implementation through to Substations.
- Lead the Site commissioning organization and provide technical liaison and resolve technical problems as they arise from all interfaces of commissioning and protection engineering and inspection. Prepare Minutes of meeting, Site reports and Progress reports.
- Review the construction program and systems completion dates and confirm their acceptability for commissioning, advising any deficiencies to the General Manager.
- Ensure that safe systems of work are developed for all site activities. Monitor safety for men and equipment during complete erection and commissioning time.

- Cooperation with Professor Harald Weber from University of Rootstock - Germany, regarding excitation systems and AVR systems in the Power Plants and primary & secondary regulation of active power and system voltage for HV networks.
- Since November 2003 I am member of Europe UCTE Working Group for Operational Handbook “Emergency Procedures” (UCTE OpHB policy 5).
- From 15th till 22nd February 2004 I have attended training course for ZMD&ZMQ electrical meters in factory Landis+Gyr in Zug, Switzerland and gained certificate for installation, commissioning and parameterization of these type of meters. Also, I have been on presentation in Factory MTE for production of Meter Test Equipment in Zug.
- From 22nd till 25th March 2004 I have attended training course for ACTARIS SL7000 electrical meters and using the AIMS7000 software and gained certificate from GANZ METER Company Ltd. - Hungary for installation, configuring and reading of these types of meters.
