Responsible for developing global environment/sustainability strategy for the organization and work with leadership of individual mining and manufacturing facilities on the implementation of the strategic objectives. Monitoring performance at corporate level and supporting executive team to make informed decisions on sustainability. Support alignment with internationally recognised standards such as SASB, GRI and align with the recommendations of the TCFD. Leading technical centres of excellence and initiatives on GHG emissions and waste reduction at the organization level in addition to safe management of tailing storage facilities.

Leading and participating in Health, Safety and Environmental audits in different industrial sectors and different countries (Egypt, Sudan, Gabon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Yemen) including SHE compliance audits, management system audits.
