• Provide monthly financial reporting to the board including budget vs actuals and other key analysis
• Forecasting: update forecasting models as necessary to help support tuition increases, employment needs, and other financial decisions
• Ensure that the School complies with government regulations with regards to fi¬nancial regulations and obligations, including, but not limited to, taxation and auditing
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for the Managing Director to include profit/loss, cash flow, and current balance as requested
• Manage the closing process including reconciliation of accounts and recording of adjustments
• Lead and manage the budget process including preparation and oversight
• Work with development to communicate ongoing budget and operational needs
• Fixed Asset Management: maintain fixed asset, depreciation, and disposals
• Review and sign cash disbursements
• Cash management including forecasting as necessary
• Administer payroll for all school employees in coordination with Human Resources, including all appropriate deductions
• Attend meetings of the Board as well as meetings of school management as required
• Advise the Managing Director on all fi¬nancial matters including the preparation of fi-nancial reports and presentations
• Analyze prepayments, accruals, and other assets and liabilities accounts and record necessary adjustments if needed each month
• Maintain proper fi¬ling of accounting vouchers and electronic databases
• Issue necessary cash and check settlements of school liabilities
• Attend and assist in the internal and external audit processes, and provide required analysis
• Manage day to day finance operations closely with operations and management team.
• Manage a team of accountants preparing all daily accounting records
• Preparation of annual budget and financial forecasts
• Prepare monthly closing management reports and budget variance reports
• Prepare annual financial reporting package and liaison with auditors to issue audited financial statements.
• Liaison with tax authorities and tax advisors, issue all tax declarations on time.
• Handling multiple banks on daily basis to absorb collected cash.
• Impose internal controls measures for branches operations, purchases and all functions.
• Supervise daily branches proper financial closing in a timely manner.
• Control days in inventory to rational levels.
• Monitor and control financial operations and transactions in branches.
• Review all transaction entries in ledger.
• Review the monthly trial balance and investigates any discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly sales tax declaration, quarterly withholding tax declaration.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss and quarter financial statements.
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures and prepare monthly accounts reconciliations.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statement.
• Review monthly cost report and prepare the required journal entry for monthly closing.
• Prepare entire monthly inventory.
• Assist with financial and tax audits
• Gathering all affective elements in salaries.
• Reviews and reconciles all advances given to employees.
• Analyzes and resolves problems or questions presented by employees related to salaries.
• Prepare all journal entry related to payroll and compensations monthly
• Prepare income tax monthly report in order to prepare the payment to tax authorization.
• Transfer salary amounts to the employees’ bank accounts.
• Receive and review the invoices from all departments to record on payable model on daily basis.
• Reviews and receives from all the Business Units cash, checks and transfers’ requests to process the payment voucher.
• Issuing checks for all vendors and other credit on monthly basis.
• Receive and maintain updated documents of vendors as reference.
• Prepare all taxes letters for suppliers.
• Enter Withholding taxes on taxes system and comparing with computerized system.
• Reviews the reconciliation of outstanding invoices.
• Preparing weekly reports (branch revenue- branch expense- branch collection)
• Preparing customer's invoices and follow up its collection.
• Daily tracking of bank deposit activity.
• Respond to credit card chargebacks
• Prepare all sales tax -withholding tax forms in order to prepare the payment to tax authorization.
• Assist with month-end closing
• Provide documentation and answer receivables-related questions during year-end audit.
• Daily journal entry to GL system after supporting document validation.
• Monitor bank accounts with daily bank reconciliation.
• Maintain and update assets book to determine value of depreciable assets.
• Assist in the reviewing and correction of balances of trail balance.
• Direct and prepare all journal entry of treasury.
• Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.
• Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
• Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups.
