• Contribute to embedding risk assessment in planning and decision making through developing and/or monitoring of key risk appetite metrics and risk indicators, and regular updating of risk registers, including progress towards implementing the risk mitigation actions.
• Provide support to managers in analyzing and strengthening existing processes on risk & compliance issues and on maintaining an effective internal control environment to support operational efficiency.
• Contribute to risk management effectiveness across the office and all aspects of WFP’s operations.
• Support managers in their fact-finding reviews and fraud risk assessments. Collect and analyze data on fraud incidents, fraud risk metrics, and fraud risk appetite, support training in AFAC standards.
• Support management of WFP resources in the area of responsibility (WFP facilities, assets, light vehicle fleet, etc.), monitor requirements and contribute to the estimation of new requirements to facilitate efficiency and cost-effectiveness of operations and services.
• Coordinate the provision of a range of services such as facilities management, travel, protocol, and light vehicle management related, etc., reporting and recommending solutions to rectify any major issues, to ensure the provision of a safe and comfortable working environment for WFP staff.
• Coordinate monitor and process administrative actions related to procurement, finance, human resources, etc., including contracts with external vendors, to ensure all data is accurately and timely recorded, processed in WFP corporate systems and any operational issues addressed. For example, approving the Petty cash for the office and sending the monthly reports to the Regional finance unit.
• Supervise and guide the team, acting as a point of referral for them and support them in carrying out their responsibilities, to ensure individual and team objectives are met in compliance with the relevant regulations, policies and procedures, and performance plans.
• Facilities focal point and responsible for creates and maintains a functional and operational workplace through effective composition, maintenance, and design of office workspaces and the systems that run. Support the region offices in all mechanical electrical engineering tasks.
• Check the provision of a range of services, including facilities and light vehicle management, travel, protocol related, etc., maintaining information, to contribute to the provision of a safe and comfortable working environment.
• Collate and process information including dissemination to support the production of standard documents and reports for the unit, to enable decision-making and the effective management of resources.
• Supervising the fleet including drivers and to make sure that all missions are completed with high level of proficiency.
• Serve as a focal point for WFP’s premises and facilities (gardening, cleaning, and maintenance contractors) to ensure timely maintenance and repairs are undertaken (especially in regard for generators, boilers, electricity, etc.).
• Petty cash cashier responsible for matching actual amount spent with the invoices, in addition to sending all reports for RBC to post all transaction made on WINGS each month on time.
• Responsibility to form contracts with customers.
• Design the solar system and heating system
• Monitor the data of the clients and ensure accuracy in all reports.
• Prepare statements for expenditures, sales, revenues. to be presented to management.
• Supervision on the installation of the solar system and Heating system.
• Maintenance of the solar and heating system.
