Managing Abu Dhabi team, reporting to the Group HR Director in Dubai.
Projects:
• Created an HR Induction and Code of Conduct training that is auto progressed (without a facilitator’s involvement).
• Designed and delivered Line Manager Tool Kit training sessions to 30 managers and supervisors.
• Revamped and optimized HR related forms.
Responsibilities:
• Manage daily HR operational activities in Abu Dhabi.
• Handle Employee Relations issues by objectively conducting investigations and implementing the appropriate disciplinary actions while adhering to the UAE Labour laws and Company approved disciplinary actions list.
• Partner and advice functional heads to solve issues related to Employee Relations, Performance Management, recruitment and Employee Development for both employees and blue-collar workers.
• Ensure that HR processes and policies are followed and implemented and that all laws, rules and regulations are followed.
• Manage recruitment activities.
• Manage the Performance Management cycle (SMART Goals, Annual Appraisal).

• Partner and advise management on issues and initiatives related to Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management and Employee Development.
• Deliver best in class HR services which includes liaising with employees and HR specialist teams.
• Prepare monthly HR analytics report and presentation on manpower and HR budget to aid in business decision making (e.g. attrition rate, headcount, HR cost, Emiratisation points...etc.).
• Continuously work with management on Organization Design cleanup exercises to ensure job details and Org structure are up-to-date as per OD standards.
• Provide hiring managers with monthly reports on recruitment updates and then prioritize hires according to their business needs.
• Maintain a detailed information of active employees, leavers and transfers, including their annual cost.
• Maintain the expiry dates of employee contracts while remind line managers for renewal prior to the expiry dates.
Handled the recruitment activities for the Middle East branches (e.g. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait and Oman) and a backup recruiter for APAC and Europe regions for several business functions.
• Sourced caliber profiles using LinkedIn and other suitable sources while ensuring diversity of profiles.
• Conducted screening interviews to shortlist profiles that match minimum requirements.
• Conducted HR behavioral interviews and panel interviews.
• Prepared offer letters and collected pre-offer and onboarding documents.
HR Business Partnering:
• Acted as a trusted advisor (SPOC) for management and employees on issues and initiatives related to Manpower, Employee Development, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Performance Management.
• Implemented HR policies and procedures, worked closely with executives and middle management on several HR agenda & analytics (e.g. retention and development of employees).
Recruitment
• Sourced profiles and conducted behavioral and panel interviews with managers which include psychometric assessment interpretation.
• Ensured a smooth and robust onboarding process.
Employee Relations:
• Acted as an advisor for employee relations issues based on UAE Labour Law and Company policies.
• Conducted objective investigations on complex employee relations issues to implement appropriate disciplinary action.
• Drafted and reviewed job descriptions with hiring managers.
Performance Management:
• Managed the full Performance Management cycle which includes communication and delivery.
• Educated management on writing SMART goals, Bell Curve and employee appraisal.
Training & Development:
• Conducted Training Needs Analysis exercise with leaders and employees to validate training priorities for next year.
• Designed and delivered trainings for managers and employees on different aspects (e.g. HR Induction).
• Designed and implemented employee development plans to assist in the Succession Planning.
