DUTIES:

- Planning Engineer:
• Reviewing the contract details to provide primary schedule.
• Understand and define the project requirements and timing the milestones required to be mentioned on the project schedule.
• Cooperate with the fabrication, T.O, Project, Packing and Painting departments to provide any required modification whether from the client or appears during fabrication.
• Preventive action taken if any failure happen during the weekly or monthly planning schedule (strike, machine failure etc.)
• Assist the Project Controls Manager with project level tasks relating to project scoping, time, quality, documentation, procurement, and progress reporting.
• Oversee project progress monitoring.
• Prepare any required fixture requires during the fabrication statement.
• Prepare the fabrication method statement for any project.
• Prepare the fabrication layout of the project in the workshop to minimize the fabrication time schedule.
• Preparing the prefabrication weekly plan for different projects.
• Following the weekly plan and solving any obstacles facing the production group to not suspend the plan.


- Site Engineer "Area Manager" (New Doha International Airport):
• Acting as a technical adviser on the site for working groups and crane, man lift & fork lift operatives.
• Checking plans, studying the drawings & the model to check the suitable erection procedure and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
• Prepare the lay-down area for the received material to ease the preassembly frames not to waste time.
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
• Responsible for 4 or 5 erection teams (25 labor & 5 cranes) to achieve the recommended time for delivery of the building without any fine recognize.
• Preparing daily reports as required
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
• Ensuring site safety.
• Erection for not less than 50 ton/day.

- Work Preparation Engineer:
• Studying the drawing details, Establish a 3D model from the client drawing for the complicated structure to check the ability to be fabricated and make the fabrication procedure.
• Design, manufacture and adjust a whole set of templates, jigs, tools and chassis for easy fitting or trial assembly, whichever the size or weight of the item.
• Create and develop Mass-production methods can match our industry to min. production hours and to help in maintain a repetitive high level of quality, guarantees accuracy of complicated geometries and facilitate erection work at site by economic in-shop trial assemblies.
• Historical data and time measurement sheets to have a real data to enhance the performance of the manufacturing process.
• Checking the machining tolerance and allowance for the mechanical parts before released to the machining department.
• Preparing a follow up charts for the progress of the required projects.
• Share the estimation of the material for the applicant projects
