Qa/qc Civil Engineer at AL JABER TRADING AND CONTRACTING

Job Responsibilities:

• To monitor site operations by systematic inspection and testing keyed to construction schedule and sequence of activities.

• Execute QA/QC initiatives and measures across assigned project(s) ensuring compliance to the QA/QC procedures.

• Assist in coordination and review of all Quality Assurance Plans and Control Procedures, documentation for successful implementation of projects.

• To ensure that each undertaken phase of work is in compliance with the contract and material approved.

• Liaison with the Project Managers, Construction Managers regarding the Non- Conformance Activities found during the Quality Control.

• Conduct the Quality Control Inspection as scheduled and planned by the Management Representative.

• Provide and accept Valuable advices a for the improvement of the Quality Control in the respective Project.

• Assist Corporate QA/QC Manager in ensuring the effective implementation of the Company CONSULT’s requirements, systems, principles and objectives.

• Initiates follow up inspection activities in order to verify them and record the implementation and effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions taken.

• Support the development of projects specific QA/QC procedures, work instructions and templates.

• To outline the requirements of implementing control over nonconforming materials, workmanship and the corrective actions that may be conforming materials, workmanship and corrective actions that may be taken to rectify or remove the causes of the deviations from specifications and any related documents.

• To provide through the different phases of a construction project a continuous record of work deviations from specifications.

• To ensure that material delivered to site conforms to the requirements specified on the material submittal sheet, as deemed necessary or upon consultant request.

• Collaborate in ensuring consistent implementation of Organization QA/QC requirements.

• To ensure the fabricated material on site or at subcontractor’s workshop/factories is carried out according to the specifications where applicable.

• Review, verify and endorse Contractor and Consultant QA/QC Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and other Project QA/QC Documents.

• Co-ordination with Contractor site team/QA/QC Dept. /owner for the inspections.

• Review of Inspection and test plan (ITP) and third party lab records.

• Reporting to the Residence Engineer & Sr.Project Manager for the update OF THE PROJECT.

• Responsible for quality of concrete for the pre-cast elements and following their crushing strength results.
• Good experience in concrete, casting concrete monitoring checking slump temperature preparing cubs

• Implementing QA / QC procedure, plans and testing schedule of test.
• Checking the quality of civil works, MEP works and pre-cast moulds.
• Inspection of pre-cast panels, material.
• Checking of works, monitoring sub-contractor progress.
• Preparation of shop drawings, as built drawings.
• Monitoring contractors and sub-contractors progress.
• Good Experience in H.S.E Activities.
• Good Experience in Post tension Works in Slabs.
• Good Experience in Pile Foundations’
• Good Experience in Aluminum Cladding works.
