Sponsored the Supply Chain modules of SPS (Schneider Production System) Lean project which contributed to Badr Plant scoring one of the highest SPS scores globally.
Lead the Supply Chain organization of Mars NAEM (North Africa & East Mediterranean) consisting of 16 markets and one manufacturing site with the objective of developing a highly responsive supply chain by: Developing a highly competent and engaged supply chain team; Driving LEAN initiatives in supply chain; Leading customer service improvement initiatives; Continuously optimizing inventory levels and reducing supply chain costs to ensure fresh products’ are available on-shelf at the lowest costs and optimum inventories.

Lead the supply chain organization of Mars ELS (Egypt, Libya & Sudan) markets and Egypt factory with the objective of building a highly responsive and reliable supply chain to enable ELS deliver its profitable growth targets by: Continuously improving customer service levels in the 3 markets and for Egypt factory customers; Implementing LEAN initiatives in Egypt’s Supply Chain; Optimizing inventories; and reducing supply chain costs.

Member of SC Johnson “European Logistics Council” representing the Greek plant.
Managed the logistics team of the Greek plant that served customers in 14 European countries with the objective of turning around the department’s performance to improve customer service, optimize inventories and reduce costs. Led the project to implement “Co-Managed Inventory” (CMI) process with customers in 9 European countries.
Managed all local and imported purchasing activities of raw materials and packaging components to ensure on-time materials availability for production. I was assigned as the project leader for the implementation of “Sales and Operations Planning” (S&OP).
Supervised imported purchasing activities of raw materials and packaging components as per the plan provided by the planning department (MRP).
Provide technical support to the sales team during and after the sales cycle by running presentations and demos to different customers on Oracle Manufacturing and Supply Chain Applications. Prepare technical responses to RFPs by providing the required information regarding the Manufacturing and Distribution modules included within the offer. Provide training sessions on the Manufacturing and Logistics Applications for the sales team and partners’ consultants.
