1-Importation & Local Sales:
* Increased the local sales volume of imported Fluff Pulp with 50%.
* Increased the local sales volume of imported Super Absorbent Polymer with 25%
* Increased the local sales volume of imported Vegetable Oils with 35%
* Handled the whole sales& marketing plan for imported Frozen Chicken.
* Handled the whole sales plan for imported Tissue Jumbo Rolls.


2- Marketing:
* Conducting periodical marketing surveys for different types of food & Hygiene products as well.
* Conducting country analysis before selling any new imported product in the Egyptian market.
* Reporting such country & market analysis to our head office in Singapore.

3- Shipping & Logistics:
* Revising all shipping documents received from our principal office in Singapore before sending them to the client.

4- Banking Procedures:
* Following up with the new banking regulations which affect the importation processes,
* Revising the L/C issued by the clients before sending it to our head office in Singapore.
* Preparing regular reports about the decrees and regulations of the Central Bank of Egypt, and following up
the updates of the foreign currency situation in the local market.

1- Offering our overseas clients with a variety of choices to choose the best fresh products that suits their needs, in terms of product specifications, overall costs, shipping turn-around time, and in accordance with their countries’ regulations.
2- Negotiating the contracts terms and prices with our “pre-selected” suppliers from the different countries, and negotiating the full contract & payment terms with the importer (our end-consumer).
3- Managing all the transaction steps from door-to-door. This is through the close coordination with our freight forwarders, and passing through the co-ordination with the third-party logistics companies, large retailers and manufacturers. This is in order to closely control the packing, transportation, warehousing & distribution of the shipment, and until the shipment reaches safely (and on time) to its final destination.
4- Ensuring that the shipment complies with the importer’s country rules, especially that we mainly work in the FMCG & perishable goods (fruits & vegetables), which require special treatment in terms of quality requirements, uncut “cold-chain” shipping conditions, & documentations.
5- Overseeing the movement of the shipment between the supplier’s country, and the importer’s country.
6- Ensuring shipments move smoothly through the complicated global supply chains while juggling everyday supervisory & follow up duties, and updating the clients whenever appropriate.
7- Handling arrangements for freight shipments in a timely and cost-effective manner, and making sure to track freight movement and to communicate any delays to the customer in order to maintain his trust, confidence, and his satisfaction as well.
8- Continuously looking for opportunities to find lower-cost carriers and faster shipping routes. Moreover, In the event of shipment disruptions, working on developing contingency plans with enough flexibility to resolve issues with parties, taking into consideration their different time zones.
9- Maintaining healthy working relationships with all our internal & external stakeholders like clients, vendors and government agency representatives, and keeping in contact with customers in order to build strong rapport, develop goodwill and address issues. Also talking with current and potential vendors such as trucking companies, shipping carriers and customs brokers, and also renewing contracts or switching to companies that may provide better service or charge a lower price.

*) Reporting to the sales and service manager all regular reports and keeping him updated with all performance and service issues.
