Promotes safety and ensures preventive maintenance is undertaken on the Material Handling Equipment and the infrastructure is utilized optimally.
Supervises loading and offloading of shipments and delegates.
Coordinates and supports the Warehouse Manager in administrative tasks related to his shift.
Ensures the effective completion of tasks related to Receiving, Shipping and Storage of goods; timely submittal of TOS and regular reports.
Planning and Organizing cyclic counts and Annual stock checks for maintaining high level of stock integrity.
Report maintenance issues (related MHE's & Warehouse racks) to concerned department.
Provides adequate Root Cause Analysis and Root Cause Analysis for Inspection Reports raised by the Quality Control Team and reports accidents / incidents and follows up on quotes required for submitting insurance claims.
Ensuring the quality and inventory accuracy verifying through Quality Control and Stock Control records.
Coordination between Customer Service Representatives (CSR) of all clients and execution of warehouse operations to meet deadlines and exceed Customer Satisfaction
Ensure that space availability & sufficient resources are available for new inbound.
Briefs the staff on the frequencies and hazard levels with regard to those detailed in the risk assessment chart, along with Safety Precautions.
Coordinates for training and updates training records and evaluates the training received by the staff.
Analysis of the requirements (staff, equipment's, pallets for offloading) and providing necessary advice to the Team leaders to provide the requirements for the smooth flow of task and timely completion
Interface with auditors as delegated by Line Manager and substantiates compliance vide safety, training and other documentation.

• Operates simple office machines (which may in some cases include computer-assisted inventory, automotive equipment, and may operate a forklift or other light equipment used in moving heavy items).
• Assists with the inventory of the Warehouse supplies.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the superintendent or his designee.
• Ability to follow instructions and organize work duties accordingly.
• Stock clerks keep records as goods enter and leave the Warehouse; most of the information is contained in bar codes, which the clerks have to scan and check.
• Work at a rapid pace to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.
