 Schedules and supervises workers in the kitchen area and hospital departments.
 Enforces a comprehensive set of food safety regulation both in the kitchen and in the food service areas.
 Evaluates work performance of workers through reports.
 Keeping track of inventory and ordering food.
 Initiates the production orders for the kitchen staff and oversees the quality of the food.
 Supervises the production and distribution of the served food
 Satisfies the dietary restriction of patients and make sure that meals are both tasty and nutritious.
 Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
 Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and takes corrective action.
 Maintain and process documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance, evaluations, and classification.
 Gather personnel records from other departments.
 Provides secretarial support by entering and printing information, organizing work and answering the telephone.
 Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
