Job Responsibilities includes but not limited to;

Management and Financial Reporting :

 Preparation of monthly management accounts
 Preparation of periodic financial reports for external and internal purposes
 Month End/ Period End Scheduling, Adjustment and closing
 To ensure transactions are correctly accounted for and reflected correctly such as Depreciation, accruals & Prepayments.
 To ensure that all pending entries are posted and all transactions are accounted for properly.
 Review of GLs for any unusual variation

Accounts Payable :

 Management of Accounts Payable, including but not limited to, liaising with all vendors and replying/solving their queries with respect to their payments and invoices.
 Responsible to maintain and reconcile all related parties accounts and posting transactions.
 Posting and verifying the supplier invoices after detailed checking with LPO and supporting documents and approvals.
 Reviews detailed monthly expenditures reports for each department, prepares adjusting entries as required.
 Monthly analysis of Payables Ageing report, advances to suppliers, Open POs, Long Outstanding balances.

Costing and Stock Management :

 Reconciling and analyzing monthly stock, bags and consumables and recommending the appropriate adjustments to Finance Manager.
 Monthly updating of cost, calculation of actual overheads and variance analysis.
 On an annual basis undertaking stocktaking and Assisting in Annual Audit.
 Prepare reports for management like Cost Centre report, Exchange Gain/Loss, Age Debt Analysis, fund forecasting and budgetary etc.
 Responsible for reviewing and preparing all utility payments of Head Office and Refinery.
 Maintaining Provisions for Air ticket/gratuity/leave salary in coordination with HR.
 Verifying and posting of HR payments including Final settlements, Leave Salaries, Overtime and Incentives.

Credit Control and Receivable :

 Monitoring the collaterals received for their due dates & expiries (bank guarantees / PDC etc
 Sales /Contract release in SAP on the basis of credit limit / fund receipt.
