HSE Management Related Trainings :
• Identifying HSE training and development needs within the organization.
• Prepare annual and monthly HSE training Plan / Schedule for Arabtec Construction Group.
• Amending and revising programs as necessary, in order to adapt to the changes that occur in the work
environment.
• Conduct Internal HSE Trainings at all Project Sites & Facilities in a timely manner and as per Schedule /Plan.
• Conduct Training Need Analysis based on Incidents/ Accidents & Audits outcome.
• Evaluating training and development programs.
• Prepare Training reports, in a timely manner.
• Suggestions for improvements / enhancements of HSE related training based on Audit experiences and Staff inputs/recommendations.
• Source, liaise with and manage trainers and external course providers
• Supervising the work of training engineer.
Arabtec Construction L.L.C
Working as HSE Manager for the construction project of the highly prestigious and iconic architectural designed new Abu Dhabi Airport Mid Field Terminal Building. A project stretched over a period of four years, comprising heavy civil, steel structural, MEP and infrastructure works, costing an over 11 Billion AED with work forces up to 25000 men with diversified skills and expertise. The main duties are as follow:
• Implementation of the Project HSE Management System (HSE Plan, HSE Procedures, HSE Forms, Contract HSE Requirements)
• Advise and inform Project Personnel of the HSE Requirements and the safe work practices.
• Management and supervision of all subcontractors.
• Day to day management of designated HSE Team.
• Supervising, coaching and guiding of subordinates.
• Reporting all issues and concerns to relative responsible personnel and advise on recommended solutions to address the issues.
• Act on the directives and instructions of ADM-EHSMS.
• Issue stop work order/Action notice in case of unsafe act as per Project Specific Procedures.
• Prepare, update and maintain daily HSE Diary, to be kept on file for review and auditing purposes.
• Carryout regular Site Tours with Project and construction Managers. Findings to be reported, documented and distributed for follow-up on close out and corrective actions.
• Review and endorse Site HSE Observation Reports prepared by subordinates.
• Participate in all HSE Site walk through and attending all meetings with client and consultant.
• Carryout and Lead Site internal audits and subcontractor audits on monthly basis.
• Issuing the audit report to concerned person. Follow-up on actions required for closing out audit findings.
• Assist and coordinate 3rd Party and Government Audits. Provision of Close out action plan.
• Monitoring and closing out Site observations Reports issued by Client/ Consultant. Submitting close out by objective evidences.
• Lead investigation for all accidents/ occurrences.
• Collect, review, analyse all evidences and documentations as per the Project Procedure and Project Requirements.
• Provide the Root Cause Analysis and Propose recommended corrective actions.
• Prepare the Investigation report.
• Plan and arrange for the HSE awards.
• Review the Risk assessments and coordinate with all concerned parties prior all critical and high risk activities.
• Implementation of Waste management plan.

To manage the entire Health Safety Security and Environment of a multi billion Project along with a team of 35 safety Staff members for a wok force of 6500 workers with multicultural back ground. Main duties,

*Enhance Safety Procedures by analysing current processes and recommending solutions.
*Maintain customers confidence by handling complaints and introducing preventive actions to ensure long term resolution.
*Prepare, review and implement Project Safety Plan and ensure an effective safety management process is in place which is in line with the clients expectations and that adheres to the service contract.
*Supervise and provide technical support to the team in preparing safety plans.
*Maintain safety records and statistics in line with ISO requirements.
*Responsible for the structure and day to day management of the company safety systems.
*Conduct and review safety training programs.
• Leading a team of 25 personnel as Safety Officers, Safety Inspectors and Assistants for the control of over 2000 work force involved in variety of activities.

l. Interaction with PM for monitoring Safety Performance, weekly reporting and documentation.
m. Prompt reporting of all accidents on site and investigating the root causes of kind of hazards, all the safety aspects and measures related to all hazards.
n. Carrying out HSE inspections/ Audits on site and reporting status and effectiveness of the system.
o. Ensuring adequate fire fighting and safety equipments are available at the work site.
p. Ensuring basic induction training, regular holding of tool box meetings at site.
q. Conduct safety inspection tours in co ordination with construction team.

It was a newly established educational institute and I was appointed as Principal.
I was over all in-charge of the complete administrative and academic activities of the institute.
It was a year's contract and I was responsible for the establishment of basic infrastructure of the college in terms of admin and academic matters. I formulated polices and standard procedures for onward implementation.I in addition to this, recruited the teaching staff and the administrative people. I also conducted lectures on regular basis. As it was a private sector institute, I did carryout the marketing and a number of students were inducted.
I was a boarding set up there fore I had to supervise all the matters related to students' better and conducive living environment.
In short the whole of college's affair were monitored and supervised by me.

It was a ship of a Law enforcement organisation. I was heading 6 officer and 65 men team. Basically the duties were to maintain the law and order within the jurisdiction of Pakistan sea frontiers. I addition to this, search and rescue and environmental protection related assignments were also undertaken. Being captain, I was over all responsible for the safe and smooth conduct of operations out at sea, apprehension of defaulters and transportation of materials. on board I was responsible for the over all management and administration of staff, its safety and well fare. I was responsible for the safe operation of all the weapons and machines. I was Chief Staff officer to the Force Commander and In charge of the Squadron Safety Department. I was responsible for the logistics and budget.
I stayed on board for over two years and I was the first project incharge to undergo the major over haul of my ships engines.
It was due to my outstanding and superior performance that I was awarded with a National Award from the Government of Pakistan in 2003. I managed to place my ship as the most efficient and economical vessel of the fleet by undertaking maximum number of highly dangerous missions out at sea in a record time period.
During the duties I, in addition formulated a 1500 pages document for the Head Quarters.
My duties also included lectures and presentations to other departments on safety and leadership management.

It was an advanced level instructional technique course based as per UK standards. It included teaching methods, preparation of syllabus, curriculam setting, lesson planning, class control, public speaking.
