Working as HSE Manager for the construction project of the highly prestigious and iconic architectural designed new Abu Dhabi Airport Mid Field Terminal Building. A project stretched over a period of four years, comprising heavy civil, steel structural, MEP and infrastructure works, costing an over 11 Billion AED with work forces up to 25000 men with diversified skills and expertise. I stayed on board for over two years and I was the first project incharge to undergo the major over haul of my ships engines.
It was due to my outstanding and superior performance that I was awarded with a National Award from the Government of Pakistan in 2003. I managed to place my ship as the most efficient and economical vessel of the fleet by undertaking maximum number of highly dangerous missions out at sea in a record time period.
During the duties I, in addition formulated a 1500 pages document for the Head Quarters.
My duties also included lectures and presentations to other departments on safety and leadership management.
