• Providing a quality check on the completion of permits and certificates (JSA, WMS, MSDS, drawings etc) prior to issue ensuring all the necessary signatures have been obtained.
• Attend all PTW & SIMOPS meetings.
• Ensuring that PTW updates/changes are effectively communicated to all onshore & offshore personnel.
• Taking a lead role in ensuring the SIMOPs for offshore is not compromised by the issue of conflicting permits;
• Maintaining a log of all the PTWs issued & ensuring all the PTWs are submitted back after completion of work for record keeping & endorsed by the parties in closure portion.
• Daily visit to work locations (onshore & offshore) to ensure work is carried out in compliance with the PTW raised.
• Ensure that all PTWs are revalidated for each day of work & work is carried out under supervision of subcontractor & contractor supervisors.
• Report non-compliance, unsafe act/job to job supervisors, make audit report & submit to HSSE&S manager, follow up & rectification.

• Provide input and support for safe conduct of work during shutdown of plants.
• Post audits involving direct supervisors to ensure client’s HSSSE plan for shutdown is adhered, reporting, follow-up & on the spot rectification.
• Ensure contractor personnel attend trainings (H2S, PTW, containment break, fire-fighting, LOTO, CSE, WAH etc).
• Ensure provision of safety gears & devices to workforce.
• Take input from HSSE supervisors & inspectors & discuss with shutdown & HSSE managers in daily & weekly meeting.
• Attend meeting with client HSSE personnel, note down concerns & communicate to contractor HSSE personnel for implementation & improvement.
• Monitor housekeeping, toxic environment, confined space & hot work activities, lifting, vehicles entry to plant & strictly implement “No PTW, No Work” policy.
• Coordinate with other Disciplines in site.
• Carrying out the cause analysis of accidents/ dangerous occurrences, recommend means of preventing recurrence and ensuring their implementation.
