People Management:
1. Manage the activities of direct reports to ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner, in line with the annual business plans, policies and procedures.
2. Manage the performance management process by setting annual objectives, and developing staff through mentoring, coaching and constructive feedback.
3. Identify employees’ training and developmental needs and in conjunction with Human Capital Department bridge the knowledge gaps to ensure continuous progression, and high-level of competence within the team.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Provide overall leadership and direction for recruitment at NUPCO, including design, development, implementation and continual evaluation to ensure a well-articulated philosophy of recruitment and successful execution to hire top talent.
2. Develop recruitment plans and programs to meet the business/operational needs of NUPCO’s strategy and goals to facilitate recruitment.
3. Develop and implement key staffing metric reporting systems that will help inform NUPCO and the HR function on recruitment efforts and to identify trends for continuous improvements related to staffing tactics.
4. Manage the execution of the end-to-end recruitment and selection processes across assigned entities such as identifying suitable channels, recruitment, preliminary screening, hiring, placement and orientation in line with established guidelines and best practices.
5. Manage the selection process and review interview summaries for candidates and assess the cultural fit with NUPCO’s organizational context, values, standards and competencies.
6. Develop a strong understanding of the talent market to be targeted by NUPCO to ensure the recruitment of the right talent.
7. Ensure that all pre-joining and joining formalities such as reference checks, security clearances, medical, labor clearance, visa formalities and pension enrolment are completed on time in order to ensure closure of legal formalities and laid down processes for employees prior to their joining date.
8. Manage the process for the induction of new employees and undertake completion of all key on-boarding activities to ensure seamless experience for new joiners in line with established employment policies.
1.Reviewing, evaluating requests pertaining to employees’ transfer and promotion. 2.Coordinates with various departments to compile the required data. 3.Using various specific applications to collect and verify data and propose and recommend solutions as required. 4.Liaising with other sections within Manpower Planning Management as well as other departments to compile the requested documentation pertaining to the requests. 5.Assisting employees seeking job opportunities within KSU-MC by explaining the procedure, coordinating with concerned departments, completing necessary forms and other related tasks. 6.Reviewing completed promotion, demotion and transfer cases for all administrative and technical positions. Ensure that forms are completed in the appropriate and required format; ensure that the required job descriptions are duly approved, where the job description is not available, initiate the process of requesting one and follow up with the department as appropriate; compile final reports for presentation to Administrative Credentialing Committee. 7.Providing update to the concerned department on the outcome of the transfer/promotion requests. 8.Maintaining all records related to the section and prepare reports as required. 9.Providing necessary training to new hires and instruct current staff of any changes, updates and revisions. 10.Assisting in developing and maintain departmental policies and procedures. 11.Performing other job related duties as required.
