Shift Supervisor in ingest department, with the following duties:
Problem solving, troubleshooting hardware/software failures.
Tasks distribution between ingest operators, and ensure the work completeness without errors.
Responsible for communication between ingest department and the other divisions.
Creating the Daily Ingest schedule and arrange with Team Leader to associate a (Booth) for Sport events.
Duties of working in Ingest Department include:
Recording feeds come from satellites using Pebble Beach software
Playback, Recording materials using VTR
Recording variable quality DVD
SDI to VHS Recording for subtitle use
With Sport's Feeds and Events this section plays as the heart of the process, it links all other sections together (links source feed to Booth & record the feed back from Booth)
Using the DPS (Digital Processing Synchronizer) to correct some Video/Audio problems (video noise, single channel audio, audio delay, out of phase, etc…)
