*Troubleshoots electrical equipments and circuits using appropriate test equipment to detect and affect required maintenance, repairs or replacement requirements.
*Maintenance and Repair of all Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Communication and Navigation Equipments / System on Vessels and Engine Control system *Technical specification writing for all Electrical equipments.
* Preparation of Electrical load analysis chart (AC &DC), sizing of generators preparation of Electrical drawings and design review of total eletrical system for marine vessels.
*Load test and commissioning of major electrical equipments including main generators and main switch board of ships.
*Examining equipment performance and providing recommendations to enhance maintainability and to minimize maintenance cost, ensuring that all maintenance services are provided safely and efficiently.
*Keeps the Tug Engineer and Technical Superintendent informed of the status of the electric/electronic machinery and equipment on board.
*Guides and directs freshman electricians to ensure a high level of safety compliance in all activities relating to maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Responded and repaired on all Electrical problems like motor generators, AC, transformers, freezer and other major electrical components.
