Keamari Terminal - Karachi-Pakistan Key Responsibilities
• To achieve Quality Management System certification ISO-9001 for Mobile Quality Labs and COCO stations for TPPL.
• To act as a reliever in case of any QCE is on annual vacations or long medical leaves.
• To act as a focal point for establishment of quality labs for new depots
• To assist MQC on different quality related reports.
• To assist MQC to digitalize quality reporting system.
• To contribute and implement quality management system in TPPL retail outlets, depots supply points & quality laboratories.
• To monitor the smooth day-to-day operations of Total Quality Units and laboratories.
• To assist MQC for commercialization of Quality assets.
• To ensure that Total Parco Pakistan Laboratories operate as per guidelines of standard lab manual.
• To issue technical advice/opinion/verdict based on lab test reports & experience & trouble shooting of quality related issues in absence of MQC.
• To provide technical assistance to commercial customers on company's products to fix the customer complaints/inquiries. (If any)
• Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
• Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.
• Carry out analyst of all kinds of Petroleum products (MOGAS, HOBC and HSD) by following the methods of ASTM.
• To produce final Certificates of quality from either manual or computerized systems in accordance with the clients' instructions.
• Part of laboratory First Aid, Chemical Spill and Fire Fighting team
• Maintaining record of Retained samples.
• Ensure that the equipment is efficiently and effectively used, maintained, and calibrated.
LOBP - Karachi-Pakistan Key Responsibilities
• Developed Formulation (new product development, up gradation of products) with rationalization as well as manufacturing support for LOBP.
• Developed OEM products formulation (Honda, Suzuki, and Yama lube).
• Carry out testing and reporting of Production batches of various categories such as (engine oil, Hydraulic oil, compressor oil, marine engine oil, turbine oil, gear oil, heat transfer oil and circulating oil.
• Carry out testing and reporting of raw materials (Base oil stock and Additives).
• Carry out the exercise of Optimization and Rebalancing of Product Formulations.
• Carry out testing and reporting of used oil samples received from the customers.
• Monitor activities of blending, filling, warehousing, and dispatch areas to ensure compliance to their respective SOPs and quality checks.
• Responsible for preparing inventory of equipment's, materials, chemicals of laboratory and ordering the deficient and lacking supplies.
• Responsible of organizing storage, retention, and disposal of samples.
• Carry out inspection, sampling and testing of ship consignments of base oil.
• Responsible for carrying out In-house maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment's.
• Involved in participation of the worldwide "Round Robin Testing Program" of lubricants. Organized by Total, Paris.
• Involved in participation of the worldwide "IDEMITSU Cross Check samples Program" run by
• Idemitsu, Japanese Oil Company.
• Perform all laboratory activities strictly in compliance with HSE guidelines provided by the group.
• Perform inspection of packing materials in compliance with approved specifications.
• Provide support to the blending and filling departments in carrying out the root cause analysis, Corrective, and preventive actions as and when required.
