• Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.
• Cary out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan
• Coordinate with the client’s representative and Project Manager for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance (NCR) and Site Instructions (SI).
• Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations electromechanical.
• Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
• Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP
• Responsible for technical submission of material submittals to Client.
• Strong Communication as Civil Design Coordinator between National Grid (Client) and Designers (DAR Engineering and Alkifah Precast).
• Planning the civil activities with corresponding to electromechanical activities.
• Well awareness with SEC Standards
• Managing parts of construction projects.
• Overseeing building work.
• Setting out sites and organizing facilities.
• Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff.
• Checking and preparing site reports.
• Providing Technical advice.
• Ordering and negotiating the price of materials.
• Conduct regular Site Surveillance to make sure that moving activities as approved drawings, approved materials, Method statement and Quality Procedure.
• Review the Material Technical Data Sheet and propose for technical approval from client.
• Preparation of Method Statement
• Controlling and monitoring the inspection Requests (IR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR) on daily basis prior to work.
• Prepare and submits minutes of strategy meetings.
• Solve out all Technical issues as per demand.
• Conduct site reviews as necessary.
• Determine Architectural features in cooperation with Design Engineer and structures Aesthetics section.
• Investigates statements or site data in Districts reports which appear uneconomical or inconsistent with policies.
• Pre analysis and precautionary measures before commencement of interface activities including Telecom, Electrical, Irrigation & others Mechanical services.
• Ensure performance of work in strict accordance with plans and specifications.
• Cross checks perform quantity takeoff calculations and preparation of IPC as required.
• Monitor the progress of activities against planned schedules.
• Keeping records of approved and rejected works, labors and equipment used.
• Monitor the progress of production of the assigned activities.
• Review cost estimates and schedules and, if necessary, negotiate revisions to avoid stress and the temptation to take hazardous shortculyts later.
• Will monitor progress, oversee delivery of materials and carry out safety checks and sort out any problems which could hold up work as they arise.
• Enforcing standards for safe behavior at all times.
• Managing, supervising and visiting contractors on site and advising on civil engineering issues.
Assist in technical issues.
Ensure all operations are carried out in safe manner according to specifications.
Progress review meetings with contractors.
Preparation of weekly & monthly progress reports to senior management.
