Looking after the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting network equipment to include routers and switches, perform fault and problem management to ensure services are maintained according to the levels defined
•Reviewing the network operations and conducting fault rectification for all technical problems; addressing & resolving all issues related with performance to ensure maximum network uptime
•Handling the maintenance of network servers including file servers, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems as well as desktop computers, routers & switches
Coordination:
•Working as member of the team involved in handling preventive maintenance to adjust, maintain & improve network performance and investigate security issues & root causes of system failure
•Coordinating with multiple external vendors for support, SLA and POC of new technologies
Installation and Configuration:
•Configuring and managing Firewalls and Security appliances in HA Configuration and Cisco/Net Gear/HP Switches
•Installation and configuration of Cisco switches including 2950, 3500 and 3750 series switches
•Responsible for design, setup and configuration of complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications
Role:
•Taking care of global/domestic projects/customers day to day Security Operations (SOC), Implementation, and Designing.
•Managing firewalls (Palo Alto, IPS/IDS, NIPS, Checkpoint- GAIA, PV-1, VSX, Cluster XL, VSX, VSYS, and VRRP - High Priority, Juniper, SRX/SSL, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Cisco ACE and F5 BIG IP etc).
•RP and FP Bluecoat proxy day to technical operation.
•Managing Cisco Routers and Switches (2900, 3850, Nexus 5k/7k/9k).
•Working on routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, BGP etc.
•Designing, Implantations and operations.
•Managing IPD/IDS
•Managing shift operations which includes change management, incident management
•Managing implementation, migration, integration and network designing.
•Working on infrastructure upgrades, implantation, migrations, decommission, integration projects
•Working on engineering and implementing security solutions for the clients
•Working on internal and Client ticketing systems and tools(ITSM, BMC, EM7, JIRA, Brouha, Arcsight etc)
•Working on new builds of various vendor installations and managing project related calls
•Managing Incident, change and P1 related bridge calls
•Co-coordinating with various device vendors like Checkpoint, Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco and Palo Alto
•Handling Escalations related to incidents and changes
•Working as a SME for shared customers and performing primary SPOC for technical and non-technical queries.
•Coordination with various ISP for any internet related issue i.e. ISP down, new configuration, any change into existing circuit.
•Managing end to end connectivity and ensure the service level achievement as per agreed SLA

Role:
•Aligning and scaling IT infrastructure (Firewalls, blue coat(proxy SG), Servers, Storage, LAN, WAN, Data Centres) to meet organizational goals and objectives
•Hands on experience to work in multiple firewalls environment and networking devices/tools.
•Managing all the administration tasks that belongs to Windows Server (2003. 2008 2012), IIS (6.0, 7.0), Microsoft SQL server (Standard, Enterprise, Developer, web based)
