- Develop designs for AV & Security Systems that meet customer functional and budgetary
requirements.
- Generate functional and connection-level drawings for audio, video, control, and
communications systems.
- Create Engineering Design Packages (to include A/V control, video, audio, and networking
schematics).
- Generate and submit List of Materials (LOM) and monitor the ordering of A/V and security
equipment and materials.
- Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings and maintain relationship
with clients
- Planning and preparing presentations
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients

- Oversee repair of Somfy products received by maintenance department, delegate tasks to
subordinates.
- Receive and process the most complex customer orders, inquiries and/or complaints
covering items or products ordered, and support customers through specialized technical or
scientific knowledge/product applications.
- Pro-actively maintain an ongoing relationship with selected customers and sales staff,
particularly those focused on technical applications of the product or service.
- Record and process orders and/or inquires received by mail, telephone, and/or through
personal customer contact.
- Suggest additional and/or alternative products or services to meet customer needs.
- Research and obtain resolution of a variety of customer complaints and issues.
- Serve as link between customers and sales staff of any potential delivery problems.
- Expedite the delivery of selected orders.
- Resolve technical difficulties and issue with the customer.
- Provide guidance and assistance to new or less experienced staff.
- Conduct training for entry level Technical Customer Service Representatives.

- Designing Security & AV Systems
- Review project proposal and deliverable with Project Management and other related departments that will be involved to determine proper lead-time, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
- Maintain good communication with technicians and contractors to assure timely and efficient completion of jobs, proper communication of issues, and proper documentation of the entire process at each job site.
- Process daily, weekly and monthly reporting to ensure all schedules run smoothly, all jobs completed as prescribed and all invoicing processed in a timely fashion.
- Process customer schedules and reports to ensure we are meeting all appropriate customer needs and expectations.
- Plan, arrange and monitor all shipping arrangements through to fulfillment.
- Work with PM to arrange contractors, permits, union help, and other special arrangements as needed.
- Work with PM to maintain billing, scope, materials, and other job templates.
- Source and manage contractors for specific sites and projects. This includes, locating, assigning work orders, sending scope and monitoring performance to assure successful completion and proper billing.
