I am currently working as a financial analyst for automotive wholesale division and am responsible for the following:
o Month end reporting
o Performance Review with Senior Management
o Budgeting
o Forecasting
o Balance Sheet Reconciliations
o Process Improvements
o Special assignments
After being transferred internally as a result of internal growth, I was given the role of Chief Accountant of the Entertainment Division and while managing a team of 2, I was responsible for the following:
o Monthly Financials of the Company.
o Budgeting and Rolling Cash Flow Forecasts.
o Managing Payables.
o Managing Receivables.
o Preparing Feasibilities for new projects.
o Maintenance of proper Books of Accounts and responsible for annual audit.
Worked as part of the Group Finance Team in a diversified business empire operating across Qatar with the following responsibilities:
o Monthly, Quarterly and Annual consolidation of accounts of over 25 Operating Units.
o Presentation of Management Accounts along with reports to the Senior Management
o Submission of Draft Authority Matrix, at the Group Level, in line with Best Practices.
o Evaluating the Sector wise financial information through variance analysis with justifications.
o Review of budgets of operating units.
o Preparing Feasibility Studies for new projects
o Preparing Cash Flow Projections
I am majorly responsible for Management Reporting including analysis on financial statements, Forecating, Budgeting Wrting Executive Summaries, Financial Modelling and KPIs. I also prepare AFE's for various new business opportunites.
Furthremore, I prepare presentations for the senior management for perfromance review and for meetings with vendors.
I completed my atricleship from Price Waterhouse Coopers(One of the Big 4 Audit Firms) and during my stay at the firm I was involved in a wide array of assignments ranging a brief description of which is as follow:
1. Business Process Redesign of Listed Telecom Company
2. Accounting & Business Policies development
3. Testing of internal controls of a MNC in FMGC Sector
4. Internal Controls assessment of a Banking Company &
5. Statutory Audits.
