1. Studies contract documents and project specifications related to quality and coordinates with QA Eng. / Officer in preparing project quality plan and follow up with the consultant/client to obtain their approvals.
2. Familiar with ISO 9001, ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, ANSI, NFPA and IPC etc.
3.Prepares the Project’s quality management system documents such as method statements, ITP’s (inspection and testing plans) etc. and reviews the material and technical submittals to ensure their compliance with the contract’s requirements and best practices, and follow up with the consultant/client to obtain their approvals.
4. Visits laboratories to ensure proper testing and inspection for materials and assures that all the measuring tools, testing devices are suitable for use and calibrated in a timely manner
5. Controls all non-conformances reports (NCR) and ensure corrective actions are taken, root causes are analyzed, and preventive actions are well placed and communicated.
6. Prepares work inspection requests (WIR) for each construction activity and submit to consultant to ensure it covers all the construction activities done on site.
7. Prepares weekly / monthly reports related to QA/QC. Ensures that all project records are identifiable, retrievable and secured against deterioration or loss, and provides help and guidance to site document control team.
8. Prepares project handover documentation/deliverables under guidance and supervision from QA/QC manager.
9. Prepare PAR, CAR and NCR in daily process inspection
10. Establish and activate Project Quality Plan and procedures with Project staff & ensure quality control throughout the project.
11. Ensure preparation and compliance in the Company with established ISO 9001.
1. I used to get approved HVAC Shop Drawings, MEP- Coordination Drawings, Work method statement and Project Specification from Project Engineerand Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with approved shop drawing and Specification and get daily progress report from site supervisor (or) foreman and update to project Engineer (or) Manager.
2. I Arrange the sufficient manpower such as Supervisor, Foreman, Duct fitter, pipe fitter, Assistant duct and pipe fitter etc and ensure all of them attended safety orientation and having proper PPE’s prior start installation activities at site
3. Kick off meeting with the client and the discussion of schedule.
4.Handover project to the client as project completed.
5. Variation claim in case of any changes in technical documents/drawing.
6.Maintaining commissioning check list for each and every equipment.
7. Site survey and walk around with the Main-contractor and consultant in order to explain the quality of work, Inviting consultant for Site inspection and approvals.
1. Ensuring all project site compliance with Document Control system.
2. Providing guidance and advice to the Project Manager on significant changes to the quality management system that have a direct impact on site operations.
3. Facilitating Root Cause analysis process for site level NCRs and ensure corrective action and preventive action are acceptable and approves NCR prior to input in QMS.
4. Development and review of the project Quality Program documentation manuals, work processes and reporting of quality records to project management of quality documents.
5. Mentoring preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project/ Activity commencement.
6. Providing QA/QC statistics and report QA/QC activities to Project QA/QC Manager
ACTIVITIES: • Attended seminar on “BLUE MOTION TECHNOLOGY”. • Paper presentation at GND College on the topic “REFRIGERATION COOLER”. • Participated in “RC AIRCRAFT DESIGN AND FABRICATION WORKSHOP” organised by Aerotrix Skyfi Labs Bangalore. PROJECTS: • Done final year project as “Generation of power by using solar panels with parabolic trough for multipurpose Applications”. • Done mini project on “Refrigeration Cooler”.
