 Develop and maintain accounting and financial policies, controls and Chart of Accounts guidelines for the company to follow.
 Oversee the proper authorization and payments of expenses and commitments, in addition to ensuring the proper recording all of all transactions. In this respect, verify abidance by the relevant policies and authority levels.
 Ensure abidance at all levels with Accounting Standards and compliance to all financial reporting requirements
 Oversee all the necessary accounting and bookkeeping activities for the company
 Oversee the preparation of financial statements to reflect the overall company position.
 Prepare tax filings and monitor the resolution of outstanding issues with the tax authorities.
 Assess and recommend specific actions, transfer pricing, etc. to achieve tax benefits for the company.
 Co-ordinate with Internal Audit and external auditors in availing information and addressing observations / concerns.
 Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities, in order to ensure safekeeping.
 Approve or reject, or coordinate the approval and rejection of, lines of credit and commercial, real estate, and personal loans.
