Administration Officer, British Council Amman, 2010 to present
* Responsible for the day-to-day management of the administration duties.
* Support Teachers and UK staff for Jordan, regional office such as arranging and follow-up their residencies, cars, shipments....etc.
*Managing and planning for all residencies finance payment and close all payment on the FABS system at the end of the process.
* Responsible for all contacts with supplier.
* Vendors Co-ordinator and the creator
* Request and approve admin payments, release POs, respond to queries relating to admin payments, and authorise payments up to my delegated authority on SAP system
* Monitor income and expenditure for Admin payments.
* Supervise office projects / bids
* Line managed Supervise Admin staff (office assistant and the drivers)
* Booking sush as Air tickets, rent a car, hotels and events for BC, Regional Office, Country staff and visitors & consultants.
* Arrange with British Embassy customs exemption and residencies through Ministry of Forgone Affairs.
* Manage the monthly charges for using British Council cars.


Project Officer and Country Director Executive Assistant, British Council Amman, 2008 - 2010
* Arranging all British Council Country Director’s activities, meetings ……est.

* To work independently on the administration of projects, as delegated by the Project Managers.
* Researching data needed for varying activities, arranging meetings, co-ordinating publicity requirements, booking flights, making visa arrangements, drafting itineraries and contracts, authorising expenditure up to delegated authority levels, paying invoices, and acting as liaison between Project Managers and clients/customers. 
* To request and prepare payments, raise payment requests, respond to queries relating to payment vouchers, and authorise payments up to delegated authority, * monitor income and expenditure.
To maintain records on databases and to record and update contacts' details on the Contacts database
* Undertake the necessary research to deal with enquiries from overseas offices and local contacts.
* Manage all project filing, correspondence and administrative support according to office standards.
* Preparing and help the project manager for the annual finance plan for the projects.

Administrative Assistant, British Council, Amman, 1995- 2008
Duties include:
 Ticketing, car bookings as well as hotel bookings abroad for BC, Regional and Country staff, consultants and visitors.
 Preprations of payments to hotels, car rentals and travel agencies.
 Assisting BC staff and teachers in residency permits through the Ministry of Interior, carrying out tax exemtpions and clearance with cutoms.
 Subsistitue for Head of Administration, and other colleauges during their absence.
 Line-managing BC drivers and maintenance staff.
 BC transporation such as updating car log and asigning them to different budgets, renew licences, insurance and regular maintenance
 Perform delivery and collection duties of documents and mail.
 Booking and arrange in setting up receptions, exhibitions and ay other major event for the British Council.
 Handling medical insurance to all staff and ensuring that staff fills medical claims, as well as collecting and delivering insurance company claim.
 Assisting line manager in preparing and sending hotel, car and ticketing bookings.
 Supporting administration team providing administrative support for all BC sections.
 Handling medical insurance.
 Follow-up and supervise residencies for Oversees staff.
 Follow-up on tax exemptions and clearance of imported goods.
