-Create the KYC Record in the KYC system sourcing information from internal and external sources.
-Proactively interact with relationship manager teams and financial crime compliance to update system with information until final approval of KYC Record
-Review information from internal and external sources for company news
-Validate the information within the KYC Record to ensure completeness and accurate (Company/Entity Formation documents, Ownership, Management, etc.)
-Complete KYC Record incorporating local regulatory requirements / Global Standards and policies
-Take responsibility for KYC Record and associated documentation completion from initiation to approval
-Conduct weekly transactional reports about companies dealing with sanctioned countries and for AML purposes
Process payments in the payment system (MONTRAN) and scan payments previously entered or corrected for accuracy of all information.
-Ensure instructions are executable, properly authorized or signed, or authenticated where applicable.
-Correction of transactions received via automated feeds with improper formatting and or items previously disapproved by verifiers.
-Foreign exchange processing duties which include, buying and selling foreign currency, entering, verifying wire transfer.
-Verify figures with the Trading group for Funds Control to ensure both areas are starting with the same opening position.
-Resolve intra-day position for funds control and reconciliation through various reports.
-Responsible for end of day proof and reconciliation.
-Process/Validate in clearing and out clearing checks, Incoming and Outgoing Collection letters and (ACS Cash) Letters. Additionally responsibilities: Signature authorizations, Process posi-pay input and matching on in clearings.
-Contributes directly to the Permanent Operational Control device
-Provides the traders with timely and accurate position figures at all times, while acting as liaison between Payment Services, the Trading Group and Back Office.
-Reviews compliance stopped payments/messages for potential violation.
Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues.
_ Handles complaints and concerns where possible and appropriate and resolves and refers unusual problems to higher levels
_ Maintains appropriate records of activities; prepares daily worksheets and reports as necessary
_ timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
_ Completes administrative support in processing Signature Changes, Business Name Changes, Opening new suffixes and maintains other changes in bank systems requested by related to Commercial customers
_ AML activity to ensure the relationship is viable and does not add risk to HSBC
_Kyc verification before funding to new and existing clients
-Handling disputes procedures, according to visa and Master card international procedures.
-Dealing with credit card application, approving cards, upgrading cards, and access credit bureau files to inform customers why application weren’t approved. Analyzing customer’s profile in order either to approve or decline credit application.
- Assigned up to 50, 000$ authorization for credit approval
-Handling customer inquiries about credit cards
-Recommending types of credit cards that fits customer needs
-Upgrading customer needs by offering more products like deposit accounts Insurance and many types of services
-Handling all kinds of loans (housing, personnel, auto, term loans and corporate), prepare recommendations either for approval or reject for loans.
-Prepare new strategies to attract customers and to achieve branch target.
