Responsible for the on-island construction works on 4 artificial islands.
Integrate team efforts to resolve engineering and construction engineering problems expeditiously to meet specified targets. Ensure all complicated modularized equipment installation plans and procedures are reviewed and closed on time by all disciplines and stakeholders. Ensure all systems are mechanically completed and seamlessly handed over to Commissioning / Operations.

Works involve Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation installation and commissioning work for EPC1 phase. EPC1 is the contract awarded to NPCC / Technip consortium for affecting Initial Production (IP) from the first number of drilled wells on the-islands.

Ensure all Contractor construction engineering deliverables and construction works are delivered and carried out as planned. Resolve all construction issues expeditiously. Ensure all works are carried out safely and to the requisite quality in full compliance with Company specifications.

Products Pipelines comprising a 127km 36" Gas Pipeline from Shah to Habshan, a 66km 16" NGL Pipeline and a 66km 16" Condensate Pipeline inclusive of:
• Six Gas Actuated Mainline Block Valve (MLBV) sites with solar power and Remote Instrument Enclosures.
• A common launcher station at the Shah gas plant complete with substation for electrical distribution inclusive of transformers, switchgear, AC/DC UPS and HVAC.
• Hot Tap of 36” on 42” Gas line and Hot Tap of 16” on 18” Condensate line at Asab Tie-in.

Preparation of the Project and Construction Execution Plans and Project Schedule. Manage, supervise and coach the Project Delivery Team in detailed engineering, procurement and construction. Evaluate and award subcontractors for the supply of services, bulk materials and equipment resources.

Review and provide input to the PEP. Prepare the Construction Execution Plan and the Construction Schedule. Work closely with engineering manager to resolve construction engineering issues.

Taweelah Gas Receiving Facilities - Abu Dhabi, UAE. Client: Dolphin Energy Limited
The project was awarded toTechnip (Abu Dhabi) & Al Jaber Energy Services Consortium and comprised the engineering, procurement and construction works for the onshore gas receiving facility at Taweelah for Dolphin Energy’s gas export pipeline from Qatar to the UAE. Includes:
• 10 Kilometer 48” extension pipeline from Facility to Gasco’ pipeline tie-in point and 750 m 36” off-take pipeline from Facility to existing Taweelah Gas Receipt Station.
• 48” Hot Tap on 48” gas pipeline at tie-in.
• 36” Hot Tap on 36” gas piping tie-in point at existing facility.
• Heaters (3x), Launchers / Receivers, Control Room Building.

• Fabrication and structural steel conversion of a Marine Cargo Vessel of 1410 tons lightship weight into a four-legged jack-up support and accommodation rig of 4400 tons lightship weight. Client: Mansal Offshore W.L.L.
• Supply of a ready-built Gas Train for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), which included a Hydrocarbon Dewpointing and H2S removal skid units. Client: Stork Engineers & Contractors.
• Supply of Pressure Vessels to Petrofac for Total Yemen; Gas Scrubbers to National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC); Deethanizer Vessels to Saudi Aramco, etc.
• The supply of various Chemical Injection Skids for McDermott, several vessels and process skids to Petrofac for Bangladesh Gas Fields Company, Desalters for Occidental of Oman etc.

The manufacture of new PLEM, procurement of subsea hoses, fenders and turntable equipment (including PDU bearings and seal rings).
§ Introduced twin arc submerged arc welding process, GMAW welding processes for S.S. and Aluminum and expanded on the FCAW process units extensively to improve welding productivity.

 Supervised the manufacture and complete assembly, including third party certification by Lloyds Register of Shipping, of a SPM buoy for Crescent Petroleum Company.
 Supervised and coordinated works for several oilfield-related projects including support fabrication (PLEMs, gravity anchors for a 42” subsea pipeline) and services (Chain handling and linking, floating and subsea hose inspection, assembly, testing and launching) for SMIT TAK’s C.A.L.M. installations in Iran.
 Assigned as the project engineer during the construction and complete outfitting of an 80-man offshore living quarters module that included a helideck for Dubai Gas Co. (DUGAS).
