• Managing catering product & service tenders and commercials for Etihad network ($ 350 M Annually).
This includes finalization of RFPs, RFIs, developing contract & commercial negotiation and strategic deals.
• Responsible to drive business decisions in negotiations with suppliers and catering projects through the analysis and develop strategies and opportunities to improve costs effectiveness and controls.
• Managing Tender Negotiation & procuring best lowest value in conjunction with budgets & global strategies.
• Supports and drives EY Partner integration and activities to align volumes to reduce cost. Represents EY on catering partnership groups & drives activity to benefit Etihad Airways and the wider group.
• Responsible for management of monthly performance reporting process for catering department aligned to operational, financial and equipment. ( Includes building different financial & cost models for management)
• Reporting Catering financials to Head of catering along with variance & risks broken down in different segments, advise head of catering action plan to achieve & control set budgets.
• Responsible for KPIs development & measurement for business areas and departmental dashboards.
• Support Finance & procurement for Financial Modeling, Analysis on all ongoing tenders & projects.
• Managing Financial/Analytical Models to support management in strategic & operational decision making.
• Creating and publishing commercial database with multiple parameters, like region wise, country-wise, caterer-wise cost and benchmarking the cost against different Airlines.
• Pre & post budget analysis. (Includes Budget Preparations for Etihad In-flight Catering Department )
• Represents catering at decision making forums providing analysis of data to support decisions.
Achievements:
Achieved 21% cost reduction, $ 5.1M in 2015 and implemented advance commercial evaluation process.
Saved $1.5M, in cost reduction initiatives and received two achievement awards from VP procurement & GE.
• Managed all finance and accounting functions at head office level, including operational accounting, financial & commercial analysis, and audit & budgeting. ( Also Implemented and controlled MIS function )
• Implemented monthly ACMI reporting to help business for charter pricing and controlling Major costs.
• Custodian of all charter costing, performance reports and commercial analysis on group level in head office.
• Prepared periodic financial and statistical reports for senior management and managed external yearly audits.
• Responsible for commercial negotiations with suppliers which includes fuel, ground handling and hotels.
• Manage and negotiate with banks on funding requirements for Meridian and other trading companies.

Setup & complete due diligence for new business, and restructure existing business to reduce costs.
• Managed payable section for smooth payments, commercial & cost comparisons, payment audits, and payable module in oracle for all type of company payments.
• Managed accounts payable department with a team of six direct reporting accounts executives.
