★ Level-2 Project related Job responsibilities :

• Assess projects, identify design requirements for LV/MV electrical distribution systems, prepare design calculations and conduct technical feasibility studies using power simulation programs.
• Perform power system studies for Electrical Distribution networks and complex Overhead Distribution Line networks including but not limited to: Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis (IEC/ANSI), Motor Acceleration Studies, Protection Coordination (Selectivity) Studies & LV Discrimination Studies,
Harmonics Analysis and Mitigation, Arc Flash Hazard Analysis & Mitigation, Earthing Safety Analysis
using state of art tools such Ecodial, DOC, Simaris Design & ETAP software.
• Conduct MV Switch gear design calculations for sizing of bus bars, current transformers, voltage transformers, auxiliary DC systems.
• Evaluate Protection and Metering requirements of LV/MV switch gears as per project specifications to select protection relays (IEDs) and metering devices.
• Prepare Base Design Drawings consisting of Switch gear's technical characteristics, General Arrangement drawing (GA), Single line Diagrams (SLD), civil work guidelines and bus bar earthing interlocks.
• Advise and support Sales & Tendering team in preparing the technical offer, prepare responses to customer’s Technical clarifications/comments, prepare compliance and deviation list in accord with project specifications.
• Provide input to the tendering team in preparing the commercial offer by estimating man hours for power system studies, project design activities and related functions.
• Lead project execution meetings with external customers and internal project teams.
• Review and prepare schematic drawings and implement standardization of engineering deliverable.
• Provide technical support to the installation, testing and commissioning teams during the energization phase and final hand over.


★Level-3 - Solution Projects related Job responsibilities:

• Preparation of Electrical Deliverable (drawings, layouts, design calculations) as detailed below in which Schneider Electric work as main Electrical Contractor.
o Single Line Diagrams and Modelling of LV/MV/HV networks for feasibility studies.
o Lighting Layouts and indoor/outdoor lux calculations using Dialux software.
o Small power, Grounding & lightning protection layouts
o Electrical cable routing plans (cable tray/trench/duct bank/conduit layouts).
o Electrical room equipment location layouts
o Panel board, cables, conduit schedules.
• Preparation of RFQs & BOQ for getting budgetary offers from Electrical Subcontractors & Suppliers dealing with Earthing, lightning protection, lighting, cables & raceway systems, Low Current,
Automation ( BMS /EMS), IT System, Access Control System, CCTV, Fire Alarm System.
• Attending project meetings with clients, project managers, contractors, sub-consultant, and local authorities during various stages of projects.

•Performing industrial & commercial load calculations as per NEC for sizing service & branch feeders, grounding & bonding conductors, over current protective devices, transformers, generators, panel boards, switchboards, HVAC feeders.
•Preparation of Electrical engineering deliverables for Non process Building Projects.
•Performing Dialux Calculations for indoor / outdoor lighting calculations.
•Performing Lightning Risk Assessments as per SBC-401& IEC 62305.
•Performing Power System Studies specifically Load Flows, Short Circuit & Selective Coordination
• Attending site meetings for design coordination and technical clarifications to the Project stockholders.
