Job Responsibilities: • Input inventories, collect data, and catalogue information into collections management software system. Cataloguing, Exhibition & maintenance of art collection
• Design and construct museum exhibits, frames, housing, mounts, display case, lighting, theatrical set.. Planned & coordinated Educational & public outreach programme, including tours, workshop, travel, lecture &class.
• Fabricate and reproduce specimens, backgrounds and structures, ensuring artistic effort and scientific accuracy.
• Performed minor conservation treatment (mending small tears, surface cleaning)
• Digital photography of all the manuscripts
• Proper methods of storing and processing a variety of specimens and the general care of properties in the museum.
DISSERTATION
"An approach for the conservation of S.T.S high school"
The study area was to analyse a 'heritage school complex' of Aligarh Muslim University which is more than 100 years old. The dissertation covers a wide spectrum of problems in the complex which occurs due to various factors (Physical, Biological, Environmental & Vandalism) and suggested measures for the conservation and restoration of this important seat of learning.
I achieved outstanding academic results and earned the 'First Position' in my Postgraduate Museum Science program, receiving a 'Gold Medal' from Aligarh Muslim University in recognition of my achievement. Throughout my university tenure, I actively participated in various Seminars, Conferences, and Vocational Courses dedicated to Museums, which significantly enhanced my knowledge and comprehension of various facets of museums worldwide. I also engaged in numerous projects, dissertations, and paper presentations related to museums, contributing to my development as a collaborative team member, a diligent worker, and a responsible individual.
