 Led the formulation of a compelling business case that resulted in the development of new accommodation facilities. The business case highlighted the cost-effectiveness of replacing outdated facilities, the challenges of maintaining dispersed accommodations, and the benefits of a centralized, energy-efficient facility. Secured a government grant for 50% of the development costs and engaged a private developer for funding. The new facility enhanced the university's marketing campaigns and featured state-of-the-art information and communications infrastructure.
 Established and nurtured strong professional relationships within the University and with external bodies to support the delivery of various services. These services included support for students experiencing mental health challenges and crises, as well as robust incident reporting, response, and management.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
 Successfully outsourced the maintenance of student accommodation, resulting in cost and time savings for maintenance tasks.
 Restructured the Residential Services business unit, resulting in $2 million in savings. This involved reducing staffing levels, reallocating work, re-classifying positions to reflect additional responsibilities, outsourcing non-core activities, implementing marketing strategies to generate additional revenue, and outsourcing security services.
 Achieved a $1 million budget reduction by outsourcing maintenance operations, leading to improved financial performance. These savings were reinvested to enhance the overall student experience.
