Research Assistance at United Arabs Emirates University
  • United Arab Emirates - Al Ain
  • October 2014 to June 2015

The research objective is to make a mathematical model that helps maintenance engineers to optimize the cost of maintenance without compromising reliability of selected components of a small airplane landing gear. This research is funded by Mubadala Development Company and takes place in United Arab Emirates University. This research lead to a Publication 'Cost Optimization of Maintenance Schedule V.S. Reliability' . My team and I presented it at Industrial Engineering and Operations Management international conference in Dubai, UAE. It was approved to be published in IEOM. The model was developed and submitted to International Journal of Reliability, Quality and Safety Engineering.

In addition to that I participate in other researcher which lead to a publication ' Design and Conduct Experiments, Analyze and Interpret Data: Learning Experience in the Design and Manufacture Lab Course'. This paper aim is to help mechanical engineering instructors in teaching design and manufacture lab course. It is used (six sigma experiment) as an example. It will be presented at National Effective Teaching Institute conference in Seattle, USA. It was approved to be published it in ASEE.

Intern Engineer at Exeed industries
  • United Arab Emirates - Abu Dhabi
  • February 2014 to June 2014

I worked for three of exeed industries factories in Abu Dhabi. Firstly, I worked for QC/QA and maintenance departments in exeed precast factory. After that I worked for production and maintenance departments in exceed litecrete factory. Finally, I worked for production and maintenance department in National Feed And Flour Production & Marketing factory. This period was very important period for me since it enhance my team-working, communication and problems solving techniques skills. . In addition, it helped me to relate what I learned theoretically in university to real life.
