Responsibilities:
• Carry out engineering design / drawings and supervise the works of his subordinates and ensure that requirements for engineering designs/drawings are in place.
• Researches and analyzes data such as client design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Plan, organize and manage engineering activities and feedback crucial matters from projects.
• Perform the role of Lead Engineer when appointed.
• Provides technical direction, support and information to other engineers, designers and drafters
• Prepare Purchase Specifications, M.R, TDC as required and providing all technical support to procurement department for right receipt of material
• Approve drawings submitted by sub-contractors or vendors.
• Provide Structural calculation & technical support to Operations and Commercial Departments.
• Ensure that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Works with clients to develop a project’s scope of work, estimates, and/or schedules.
• Reviews and approves project drawings, standards and specifications.
• Develops major equipment and material selection, and construction specifications.
• Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Ensures that all assigned activities and operations comply with applicable codes, regulations and laws.
• Provides support during fabrication and installation phases to ensure engineering documents are followed.
• Coordinates activities with other project disciplines involved in fabrication, operation, application, and installation or repair of various materials, products or systems..
• In House structural calculation for yard and site lifting plans
• In house structural calculation for temporary yard aids (spreader beam, Lifting Pad eyes, column design, sheds design, onshore skids designing…etc.)
• Interface with clients and design consultants and third party engineering subcontractors
• To answer CRS & raise RFI, Coordination with different discipline
• To prepare, review & development of shop drawing
• Participate in Engineering of field modifications.

Project:
• ELOMP TERMINAL - EPC TANK FARM including Piping, pipe racks, access platforms, ware house, truck loading platform & all relevant structure (AED 260 million 9 Months)
• DUGAS - EPC for 2 nos. Propane Sphere including foundation (AED 89 Million- 6 Months)
Responsibilities:
• Preliminary analysis, sizing & quantity take off (Steel & RC) for tender, estimation & bid evaluation purpose.
• Preparing RFQ & rate analysis for cost comparison, variation order, monthly interim payment (LPO), extra claims apart from B.O.Q and coordinates operations manager
• Detail checking of design and drawings prepared by junior engineer or by contractors
• Preparing and handling team of assistant engineers for preparation of Drawing (AutoCAD), M.T.O, B.O.Q, Fabrication details drawing as well as as built drawing.
• Rechecking of Rebar, bar bending schedule, Fabrication & Erection process.
• To identify mismatch as per specification, abnormal condition, settlement and provide remedial & quick solution as per senior engineer & managers.
• Prepare and review design calculation & analysis structure including piperacks, access platform for vessel & shell (Tank).
