To perform production planning, estimating, scheduling, workload negotiation, and materiel requirements forecasting for assigned programs.
To perform pre-shop analysis when required, and to establish part, equipment, and operating supply requirements to accomplish workload
Plans, coordinates, and directs pilot overhaul or prototype programs for military track vehicles (tanks, artillery, and personal carriers) and their major assemblies, subassemblies components.
Develops production planning and control procedures and systems for the repair, overhaul, and modification of combat and tactical vehicles and artillery.
Arranges and conducts meetings, conferences, etc., to determine the type and degree of work to be performed, the in-process schedule, completion schedule for assemblies, subassemblies, components, and support activities to accomplish production.
Controls rebuild programs from initial planning phase through completion by coordinating with shop operations and staff elements.
Prepares written methods and procedures for shop operations on assigned programs.
Determines requirements and initiates action to obtain shop equipment, special tools, test equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
Develops man-hour requirements for each program, utilizing work measurement data, statistical data, historical information, and technical knowledge.
Controls man-hour and parts cost at job order level to assure that the most economical benefits are realized and to preclude excessive deviations from programmed cost.
Supervises of all the technicians under my command.
Being the technical advisor for the field technical manager.
Making sure that technical inspection, production, and Q.C processes are carried out according to standards.
Execution of technical amendments that may be necessary to solve a logistic problem.
Follow-up of all technical problems.
Evaluation and arrangement of all technical works and issues
Supervises of all the technicians under my command.
Performs technical repairs for wheeled and combat vehicles if field unit.
Performs monthly technical inspections for each vehicle according to inspection manual.
Performs preventive maintenance which depends on distance travelled or operating time according to technical instructions.
Supply on the spare parts and vehicles subassemblies according to instructions.
Being the technical advisor for the field commander.
Performs repairs, reconditioning and heavy maintenance for bulldozers, loaders, graders, etc.
Performs repairs, reconditioning and heavy maintenance for forklifts (2 - 20) tons.
Performs overhaul programs for engines, gearboxes and bulldozer undercarriage.
Repairing, modifying, reconditioning and testing hydraulic systems.
Maintenance and repair of the hydraulic pumps, actuators, motor, valves and connections.
Troubleshooting and diagnoses hydraulic faults.
Follow-up of all technical problems.
Evaluation and arrangement of all technical works and issues.
