•Evaluate client AML/KYC risk, including the identification of key issues and related mitigants, conducting independent research, verifying appropriate risk profile, and making independent risk assessment recommendations.
• Liaise with various groups like legal, compliance, and operations as needed to ensure a robust risk analysis and assessment.
• Validate all client data and supporting documentation is appropriately recorded and stored on proprietary systems (Company/Entity Formation, OWNERSHIP, Management, Market Reputation, Lines of Business, Account details, CIP’s, Regulatory proofs, etc).
• Partner with Coverage Team to collect, analyze, and validate all appropriate due diligence and onboarding documentation provided by the client; utilize knowledge of AML/KYC policy to independently identify missing or insufficient client due diligence information
• Take Ownership of quality control issues related to client due diligence and work with Coverage to resolve accordingly; escalate as appropriate
• Research, collate and review information from internal and external sources for company news (Firm website, Annual Reports, Regulatory websites, Company website, Dun & Bradstreet, Media Sources, Commercial Registries, Google etc.)
• Carry out name screening of Entity, Directors, Beneficial Owners, and Senior Management in NESS (Name and Entity Screening System) by using World-Check.
