1. Lead the team of the HSE inspector.
2. Carry out site surveys to see that only safe work methods are in operation that health, safety & Environment requirements are being observed.
3. Ensure for observation cards are raised for each unsafe practice and safe practice and corrective actions taken.
4. Share injuries/incidents reports, create new flyers and modify site flyers and send to all sites.
5. Assist I/C HSE in developing and conducting training courses for HSE personnel and other management employees.
6. Correspond with sites regarding established routines (responding different queries through memos).
7. Prepare HSE documents and assists I/C HSE to deal with the Customer on matters of HSE.
8. Ensure the Front line supervisor is properly conducting daily Toolbox meeting.
9. Attend weekly HSE walk about and close out the issues identified, collectively with HSE In charge.
10. Coordinate with client Field HSE Inspectors and address the concerns.
11. Evaluate and report performance of HSE inspectors I/C HSE
12. Prior to start of any activity Incumbent will ensure that JSA’s/ JHA’s are prepared and prerequisite know how and training has been conducted for the planned crews.
13. Participate in scheduled audits and site inspections & share the findings for improvement at ground level.
14. Ensure the health of equipment, tools & plants through regular inspections. This is equally applicable to our suppliers & subcontractors.
15. Encourage every person at site to report Near misses through trainings & incentives.
16. Ensure implementation of project approved HSE plan for the subcontracted scope of work.
17. Helps in Preparation of weekly HSE report.
• PROJECT SCOPE:
Construction of One of Largest LNG Project (BARZAN ONSHORE EPC PROJECT) in Ras Laffan Industrial City Qatar, Jobs Summary includes all Civil, Mechanical, Structural Construction and Fabrication works with Critical Lifting.
JOB PROFILE:-
• Ensure that all the groups are conducting tool box talks on regular basis
• Create awareness among employees through safety flyers and sign boards
• Communication with client safety representative about safety issues
• Implement all safety rules and regulation & take necessary action to maintain the site free from any harm.
• Conducting gas test for the excavation changing to confined space, and also inspecting the requirements of confined space entry & attendant.
• Implementation of safe working procedures to avoid any unsafe act at the site.
• Participation in emergency evacuation drills to increase the awareness among the workers to deal with any emergency situation.
• Participation in weekly HSE walk downs with the client and to kill all the walk down issues timely to improve the safety of worker at site.
• Check work permit, job safety analysis and risk assessment for the job
• Ensure compliance of personal protective equipment (PPE’s)
• Ensure good housekeeping at all the time at the working areas
• Ensure that during lifting with crane areas is barricaded and certified riggers and equipment is present
• Monitor work at height activities to check that every worker is using safety harness with shock absorber and 100% tie off at all times.
• Check that scaffolding is inspected by scaffolding inspector and it is green tagged and no one is working in red tagged scaffolding
• Ensure that fire extinguisher is available in case of hot work activities like gas cutting, welding and grinding operations.
• Check that first aid box is available in the area.
• Report any incident at site to In-charge site HSE.
• Ensure that all excavation work is performed with valid permit and all safety precautions are taken like barricades, sign boards etc.
Project Scope:- Construction /welding/ laying of 8" inch Ø Nps 2.6 Km Feeder line Plus well Head surface Fitting of Sui well 88(m) and Dismantling of existing Raw Water Storage tanks No.M2, 4, 5 and reconstruction of Raw water Storage Tanks.
JOB PROFILE:-
• Daily Site Safety Inspection.
• Ensure the working conditions are maintained as per company and their safety policies.
• Conduct “On the spot SITE HSE Training” to educate workers on the job oriented safety requirements and participate in daily tool box meeting along with foremen / supervisor.
• Conduct Orientation and craft wise training programs for awareness of the company policy, general safety rules and working procedures.
• Ensure the lifting Risk assessments are performed & utilized.
• Attend heavy lifts within the yard and control lift areas.
• Ensure the fire & safety equipments are adequate and are available conveniently at the site.
• Find unsafe Act and Condition & given safety recommendation to rectify that.
• Construction specifications and environment hazards assessments through method statement.
• Environment and hygienic control.
• Emergency evacuation plan & procedure and drill for construction site, workshop and camp facilities.
• Demonstrate emergency response Drill/Mock drill.
Project Scope:-Construction /welding/ laying of 20" inch Ø 20 km Sui Kashmore water pipeline in two different sections).
JOB PROFILE:-
• Coordination with Client field team to control the unsafe condition and minimize the complaints
• Audits and inspection according to site procedure on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Advise and guideline to work force and site supervisor on HSE Matters
• Participating in HSE walkthroughs at site with client to analyze the HSE compliances and take necessary action accordingly for safe and healthy environment.
• Inspection of work site through different checklists.
• Training personnel in safety as per needs
• Ensure the inspection of tools, equipment lifting Gears at site before its issue for work.
• Implementing the requirements of Emergency evacuation plan for work site, workshop and offices areas.
• Implementation of Permit to work procedure requirements for site.
• Conduct safety talks with employees on daily weekly and monthly basis.
• Monitor and implement Fire and Explosion prevention measures.
• Make sure the compliance of PPEs at work site.
• Implementing the construction waste plan according to Client Company and local procedure at site and monitor the handling, storage and spillage waste.
• Implementation of procedure of hot, cold work etc. at site.
• Make sure that chemical handling is done in safe manner and as per procedural requirements.
• Ensure the safety measures during lifting operation at site.
Project Scope:- Creation of raw water storage tank capacity 150000 gallons) and Project Construction /welding/ laying of 20" inch Ø to 20km long in 2 different sections.

• Daily Site Safety Inspection.
• Carrying out the safety orientation seminar to all work.
• Attending the weekly safety meeting with client & project manager.
• Ensuring the right quality of P.P.E. and availability all the time.
• Civil and general activities (trenching, Excavation, Shoring and Benching etc, ) all type of civil site activities handling and organizing as per safety standard.
• Confined space activities (Storage Tank and Drums) all type of confined space activities safety precaution as per Company standard.
• Hot work activities (Welding, Cutting, Grinding etc) to ensure that it will meet the safety requirements as per Company.
• Conduct safety orientation seminar to all work.
• Encourage all safe behaviors and acts at site.
• Ensuring that adequate and correct types of fire prevention device are available at site and office.
• Ensuring that adequate first aid personnel and kits are available at site.
• Inspection of the fire fighting equipment and prepare reports with colour coding.
• Ensure that all employees are of the company all work with colour coding safety requirements.
