Carry out on site risk visits to identify potential hazards and risks, which have the capacity to cause accidents and suggest TOTAL LOSS CONTROL MEASURES to clients. Total Loss Control includes controlling property damage (losses), business interruption risk, human injuries and also including property damage to society and surrounding
Accurately communicate the “picture of the risk” in the Risk Report (RR) and accurately quantify exposures at client locations. This facilitates account team and clients to understand and improve the risk quality and overall facility
To take appropriate steps to assure that protective equipments are operational
Check the adequacy of fixed fire protection system by reviewing the design, inspection, testing and maintenance programs and suggest improvements in the system
Project Risk Management Services:
Participate in “Kick off Meeting” with the client’s project team, consultants, architects and related stake holders to understand the details of the upcoming project and engage in ideating sessions on loss prevention and control solutions from the conceptual stage
Provide plan review services by evaluating fire protection system drawings and hydraulic calculations and suggest changes in the form of plan review letter
Analysis of tender documents pertaining to fire fighting works
Verify the fire protection installations and process safety interlocks at project site and suggest recommendations in the project letter
After completion of installation and commissioning of fire protection system, conduct acceptance testing of fire pump, automatic sprinkler system and hydrant system etc. as per FM Global standards
Works in close liaison with fire consultants and contractors to ensure that proper loss prevention considerations are achieved at the design and project stage
Carry out pre-acceptance inspections of risks to identify potential hazards and risks
Property survey reports to facilitate internal and external customers
Marine loss prevention surveys to minimize marine losses
Assist client’s operation in implementation of Company Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures to make a good safety culture
Assess the adequacy of existing loss control measures and suggest improvements
Risk Improvement Program to improve risk management practices at insured’s work place
Support customers in implementing risk control recommendations
Share risk information & best practices among AXA Group entities
Post loss accident investigations to avoid recurrence and to identify root cause of accident
Statistics related to safety parameters are captured & maintained in the form of exhaustive report
Contribute articles in company’s periodical technical newsletter
Coordinate with Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai engineers as a Technical coordinator
Review inspection reports and suggest necessary changes before submitting it to the underwriters and clients
Pre-acceptance risk inspections for property insurance
Safety audits of various manufacturing facilities based on national codes and standards.
Coordinate with regional risk engineers to implement company’s risk management templates
Carry out post loss accident investigations to avoid recurrence and to identify root cause of accident.
Statistics related to safety parameters are captured & maintained in the form of exhaustive report
Provide trainings, inductions and awareness programs to Clients and other department colleagues on Risk Management and Loss Prevention through power point presentations.
Assist Underwriters on technical issues
Meetings with Brokers/Agents along with sales team to apprise them about risk management value added services
Rich exposure to inspection of Steel, Textile, Bulk Drug Industries and Shopping Malls etc
Undergone FM Global trainings on property loss prevention and control in FM Global training centre in Norwood, United States of America (USA) Completed successfully “International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety” (IGC) from NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) United Kingdom Licentiate exam from Insurance Institute of India Under gone 2 weeks’ Vacation Training at Bhilai Steel Plant (M.P) Successfully completed 2 weeks’ Vacation Training at Prabhakar Paper Mills Pvt. Ltd. (M.P)
