Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with different core department to collect core backhauling requirements.
• Segregate the requirements as per geographical location.
• Design the protection schemes required according to the IP-Core Network plan and ensure the fulfilling of diversity routes.
• Prepare schematic drawing for the planned DWDM network.
• Choose the type of modulation (ODB, DPSK, eDQPSK, Coherent PolMux-QPSK, ..) which fulfill the OSNR budget while considering the rings configuration factor with most optimized financial aspect.
• Prepare all design documents including power/cooling requirements per site, fiber span lengths, traffic matrix, signal flow diagram & lambda source-destination allocation.
• Float tender among different suppliers.
• Review and evaluate different submitted bidders.
• Choose the better technical offer which fulfill the telecommunication standard and meet all project technical requirements.
• Review and follow all contractual agreement points.
• Coordinate and supervise the ongoing project implementation.
• Ensure the project progress is as per PIP (Project Implementation plan), and ensure the achievement of milestones.
• Follow up for project snags clearance.
• Proper closure of projects and handing over to operation.
• Review supplier payments as per contractual clauses.
• Preparing weekly/monthly report.
• Mapping of new core backhauling requirements on existing network.
• Customizations and augmentation of existing DWDM rings to match the dynamic change of network requirements.
