Responsibilities

• Managing dairy (Cattle & buffalo farm), goat, pig, fish and poultry farm
• Managing protected house / green house and net houses for higher value vegetables
• Managing plant nursery and mother plant stocks
• Managing milk and food processing unites including honey bee production
• To handling all the daily activities in the farm with subordinating AFM, supervisors, Clerical staff (Store keeper, Accountant), machine Operators and 30 labors.
• Coordinating practical and field agronomy training program with academic staff
• Maintaining accurate technical and financial records, accordance with university administrative system such as crop and animal inventory, farm production records keeping

Almari is the biggest integrated farm in the world and Cultivate Alfalfa, Corn forage grasses, Dates, Wheat, Grapes over the 30000ha

• Handling all crop inputs applications, data base maintenance and crop input budget management
• Insects, weeds and other pests management through the (IPM) and (IWM)
• Center pivots irrigation management with ensuring the irrigation efficacy and accuracy of crop input application through irrigation equipment.
• Collecting soil and plant specimens for lab analysis and result interpretation and make recommendations.
• Responsible for ensuring all cropped areas are regularly monitored, plant health with regards nutrition and fertilizing
• Conducts investigations in field-crop problems and develops methods for control of noxious weeds, crop diseases, and insect pests
• Supervising and training, trialist, chemigaters and spray machines operators
• Assists in the design and conducting of training programs regarding current developments in global agronomic practices are explored fully to ascertain their suitability for use on arable farms and working health and safety practices with GAP standard
