• Managing a rapidly expanding team of 18 officers 2 HSE engineers in the site and 1HSE coordinator & 1 HSE support assistant in the office.
• Ensure a safe working environment without harm to employees, equipment’s, and environment.
• Address QHSE issues at the time of identification.
• Monitor the rig and facilities annual and quarterly KPI implementation.
• Conducts audit and inspection to ensure the compliance of all rigs and facilities are in according to NDSC policies, procedure, standard and client regulatory and contract requirement.
• Monitor operation and provide advice as appropriate bearing in mind SOP of safe operation procedures, risk assessments and hazard identification.
• Provide timely report as required by Country Manager and clients.
• Member of client contractors KPI meetings
• Develop an incentive program to motivate employees to be safety conscious on the discharge of their duties. E.g. Monthly Best Stop Card Award.
• Provide incentive for employees to report any near miss in the rig and take part in hazard hunt.
• Lead initiatives to promote visible and pro-active management commitment and employee involvement in HSE activities.
• Head the risk management team and HSE activities including risk assessments, audits, HSE Meetings, and forums including on-site activities for startups rigs and commissioning of new rigs. Ensure there is an effective system for collecting, storing, analyzing, tracking and reporting HSE performance data (e.g. Incident.).
• Approval of all related QHSE MR Material request after proper scrutiny.
• Conduct quarterly and annual KPI presentations to the management team.
• Coordinating 9 rigs, 6 work over rigs in JO-Wafra Kuwait and 3, 1500 HP drilling rigs in North Kuwait Client Kuwait oil company (KOC).
• Updating SOP with Operation manager in compliance with Incident investigation report and corrective action as required.
• Regularly present our best practice during JO and KOC SAFETY DAYS ceremonies.
• Attend client bimonthly hse meeting and operation meeting
• Chair company yearly KPI update.

• Exercise / promote Stop Work Authority on company's facilities and where it's needed to guaranteed Target Zero an Incident Free Operation.

• Oversee the implementation of (BOC) Burgan observation cards program, prepare summary reports, and assist in selecting best cards.
• Ensure maintenance of lifting equipment register and inspection program, check color coding.
• Ensure employees comply with Burgan’s training requirements.
• Update training matrix on a monthly basis.
• Authorized Permit to Work as Permit Issuance Authority (Excavation, Hot work, Electrical, Confined space, etc).
• Conduct training for H2S Gas.
• Inspection of self contains breathing apparatus and Fire Systems.
• Conduct drill in donning of self-contain breathing apparatus to know how employees will react during the time of H2S emission

• Establish and ensure implementation of the HSE Management System on the all phases of (Procurement, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning) of the project.
• Develeop project accident preventive plan in line with EM 385 1-1
• To establish Project HSE Plan including HSE Policy (based on Corporate ESQ Policy) and continually improve it.
• Ensure that HSE is applied through US Army corps of engineer in line with EM 385 1-1. and Commissioning throughout phases of the Project.
• Ensure that the Project meets international standards.
• Assist and coordinate with the Project Manager and all personnel assigned to the project in establishing an overall Project HSE Management Plan based on Corporate ESQ program and Project requirements.
• Advise on setting up the improvement guidelines for Project HSE Management System to project employees. Ensure improvements are implemented and results are feedback to employees.
• Establish Project HSE audit program & schedule and perform the Project HSE Audit within the project organization in cooperation with Corporate ESQ Team.
• Report the Project HSE Audit Results to Corporate ESQ Team Leader and Project Manager.
• Monitor Project HSE System activities such as Engineering HSE and Field HSE activities based on Companies Management system and Project requirements.
