• To plan and schedule the work and efficiently organize the site / facilities in order to meet an agreed programme of deadlines.
• To attend regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants and keeping them informed of progress.
• To review and evaluate technical submittals and shop drawings prior to submission to consultant and clients according to required project standards.
• To assist the project manager/senior project engineer in preparation of sub contract agreements and to recruit people for his area of discipline.
• Review and approve contractor's payment in line with estimated work completion so that he can be paid for the actual work done.
• To supervise and monitor the site labour force through General Foreman and or Supervisors, monitoring the work of any subcontractors to complete the work as per customer's satisfaction.
• To ensure safety standards and procedures are implemented and followed in accordance with contract requirements and company guidelines.
• To oversee quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensure that regulations are adhered to.
• To resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
• To oversee the selection and requisition of materials for use in the construction / maintenance, to check whether the materials are as specified.
• To supervise and ensure proper maintenance of materials and to advice on technology and modifications required for a simpler and cost saving mechanism.
• To prepare necessary paperwork for the completion of work and get it authorized by the client after their inspection.

1) Sabah Al-Ahmad City Project - 5500 TR

-Assist installation manager in planning activities.
-Handle medium scale projects (prepare a design proposal).
-To plan and schedule installation works on sites to meet the time table as per company requirements.
-To supervise foreman and labor working on site including subcontractors to complete the work as per schedule and the client requirements.
-To assure quality standards and safety regulations are achieved.
-To solve ant problem that may rise on site.
-To meet the clients or thier representatives on site or in the office to facilitate completion of work as per standards meeting their requirements.
-To control material requisition and consumption to be kept in the minimum range for cost saving purposes.
-To prepare monthly production report for all the activities on sites including check lists assuring work is completed as per company standards and policy.
-Produce BOM showing quantities of all materials to be used in installation activities as per the final drawings approved by client and submitted by installation engineer.
-Study architectural and civil drawings submitted by sales reps to calculate the required cooling capacities as per client request, building directions, zoning to select the appropriate units prior to quotation.
-Once the contract is booked, prepare a design proposal to be discussed with the client (including unit locations, duct routings, riser openings, etc...)
-Meet the client and get his approval for the proposal and accordingly prepare duct routing diagrams.
-Visit consultant offices for any coordination with civil or architectural engineers.
-Arrange schedule of wooden frames installation as per site requirements or client calls.

Trainee (Project Design Team, Al-Ahmadi Services)
• Brief overview of type of mechanical projects handled along with visit to various ongoing sites.
• Study of HVAC equipments and their operations in the central plant.
• Understanding principle and procedure of project design work and preparation of tender package.
• Design of HVAC systems (Using computer aided programs, preparation and review of design drawings.
• Site visit for construction projects, method of construction management and site supervision.
