Administer the Project HSE Plan with the Project Manager and renders technical assistance on safety throughout all phases of the project.
To administer the EHS Management System and to establish and maintain all EHS records
Review periodically the plan with the Project Execution Team to re-affirm its adequacy and applicability to the specific tasks and its conformity to the Client or Contractor requirements.
Coordinate in Safety audits, accident and incident investigations and reporting, and maintain central file for safety statistics of the project.
Taking part with the Construction & Client Management for Root Cause Analysis
Attending Weekly Progress Meeting & EHS Management Meeting with client and other contractors on site
Participate or conduct safety inspections and walkthrough at project locations and render reports to the Management for appropriate action.
Initiate safety recommendations to the Project Execution Team to improve site safety, health and environmental program.
Coordinate with clients on site safety activities, training programs and emergency plans, drills and procedures.
Prepare and submit the necessary reports relative to the project safety status or any report as required by the client.
Participate in Weekly Safety and Progress Meeting and coordinate with the front-line supervisors in conducting Safety Tool Box Meetings to craftsmen.
- Coordinate or assist with other subcontractors with that safety programs to meet the specific safety requirements.
Evaluate the need for safety equipment to employees, first-aid, fire protection, hygiene and sanitation etc. and ensure that all meet the minimum safety standards.
Minimum safety promotional activities such as displaying of positive attitude safety posters, safety signs, banners and publication of safety letters or literature.
Preparing Job Safety Analysis and Safe Work Authorization based on method statement.
Deploying Safety Officers, Fire Watchers, Banksman in work sites as of requirement.
Raising awareness of health & safety issues in various Project sites.
Conducted in-house trainings on H2S / BA (Hydrogen Sulphide / Breathing Apparatus), Fire Fighting, Fall Prevention, Rigging Safety, Safe System of Work, work at height, Defensive Driving, Confined Space Operations & PPE, life critical training.
Informing the management on legislative and regulatory requirements in preventive & protective measures.
Actively monitoring EHS aspects of all processes and documentation Identifying HSE improvements to systems and processes.
Initiating EHS Campaigning & Awareness on site.
Member of Overall Site Beyond Injury Free Steering Committee Team
