DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, including staff management, inventory control, and financial performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, minimize costs, and achieve profitability targets.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise restaurant and bar staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
• Schedule staff shifts, assign duties, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Collaborate with the executive chef and beverage manager to develop seasonal menus, special promotions, and pricing strategies.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining and drinking experience, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives to drive restaurant and bar revenue, including promotions, events, and partnerships.
• Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and place orders with vendors as needed to maintain stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with health codes and hotel policies.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the restaurant and bar operations, monitoring expenses and revenue performance. ACCOMPLISHMENTS Implemented targeted marketing campaigns and promotions, resulting in a 20% increase in restaurant and bar revenue. Implemented cost-saving initiatives, including renegotiating supplier contracts and optimizing inventory management practices, resulting in a 15% reduction in food and beverage costs.
