• Verifying through all stages of inspections to assure that the company produces quality products consistently
• Qualified on API 7-1 and API 7-2.
• Qualified on Grant Prideco XT series
• Carrying out API and Grant Prideco thread dimensional inspection and final product inspection
• Qualified on ARNCO and Dura band for Hard banding.
• In process and final Inspection of RTJ Gaskets (type R / RX & BX) manufactured and verification of dimensions as per
API 6A & ASME standard and specifications.
• In process & final inspection of spiral wound Gaskets
• Receiving Inspection of all incoming goods and raw materials to ensure that PO, customer requirements and/or
National Standards are met
• Ensuring manufacturing / repairs are following the Specifications through in-process inspection
• Verifying recorded dimensional data and completion of quality documentation (COC, MTC, Dim. Insp., NDT Reports)
• Raising NCRs for products failing inspection and applying relevant Hold/Quarantine/Reject tag to non-conforming
products and place in quarantine area.
• Provision of training of new departmental staff
• Analyzing inspection methodologies and recommending improvements as necessary
• Issuing 3.1 Material certificate for RTJ Gaskets.
• Used measuring instruments such as Hardens, OD & ID Micrometer, lead gage and depth gage.
• Performed visual inspections during receive and process work.
