Presently Working as Project Management Office In-charge with overall responsibility of the Project Planning, Scheduling & Management Reporting and also responsible for GAP Analysis of the Organizational Systems, Procedures development, Contracting systems including Bidding and review, Budgeting and Cost Control functions.

My diversified experience in Managing EPIC Construction, Maintenance and Major Shutdown Projects from conceptual level to Successful Completions are noted below.

Working with some of the best Clients and Major Contractors, I have effectively handled Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, Shutdown Planning & Scheduling, Project Planning & Scheduling, Business Planning, Budgeting & Cost Control, Cost Analysis, Quantity Survey & Estimation, Contract Scope Development, Bidding, Evaluation and Contracts Administration.

Qatar Petroleum (QP) Refinery the first refinery of Qatar Petroleum (QP), the state-owned corporation established in 1974 for all phases of the oil and gas industry in Qatar. The 137, 000/- BPSD Refinery processes crude oil and condensate into various finished petroleum products. The finished products are intended to meet domestic/local demand and for export.
Worked as Refinery Facilities Department Planning focal point and prepared routine and non-routine Plant Maintenance work orders to various execution sections after developing clear scope of work and execution requirements using latest CMMS-SAP.
Co-coordinated various routine and non-routine maintenance activities of Refinery. The maintenance works are usually executed using Refinery Call off Contracts for NDT & Inspection, Insulation, Scaffolding, Technical Manpower, Industrial Painting, Industrial Cleaning, Refractory, Civil Maintenance and Minor Construction works, etc.
Refinery Turnarounds and Shutdown: Developed scope of work and Involved in the management of major refinery shutdowns including detailed Planning and scheduling. Monitored overall execution by tracking shutdown work progress, Prepared S-curves, bar charts and initiated corrective actions to maintain the required progress.
Budgeting & Cost Control: Carried out the development of CAPEX, OPEX and N.R. Budgets for all Refinery departments including monitoring, analysis and reporting for management review.
Contracts preparation and administration: Carried out the preparation and administration of Various Refinery Directorate Contracts (GTC, LTC & STC) and Service Order Contracts from tender stage to closeout as per QP standards and procedures.
Interface & Business Planning: Developed and implement Agreements to safeguard QP Refinery’s Interests in dealing with Third parties, Subsidiaries and/or Joint Venture Companies.

M.S. Al-Suwaidi Industrial Services Co. Ltd (SIS) is one of the major EPC contractor providing General Engineering, Construction and Maintenance Services for Refineries and Petrochemical Plants for Saudi Aramco and SABIC Group in Saudi Arabia.

Planning & scheduling: Prepared EPIC, Construction, Plant Maintenance and Major T/A Shutdown project schedules and produced all the required Resource Loadings, CPM Network analysis. Issued Look ahead schedules, Progress tracking and analysis against base line schedules and prepared recovery plans, revised schedule as required.
Progress Reports & Project Status: Developed project specific Progress Measurement tools and formats for status reporting from site, Key performance indices (KPI) analysis.
Project Invoices & Billing: Supported Project Progress Billing process, Analyze variations & revisions in quantities and their cost impact. Follow up & co-ordinate with clients & consultants for submitting & approve invoices to ensure cash flows.
Proposal & Bidding: Coordinated the Bidding Processes between departments like Engineering, Estimation, Procurement, Contract Administration, Quality Assurances, Safety, Transport & Equipment, Materials and HRD that the Bids are submitted on time as per company policy.
Project Budgets & Costing: Monitoring and controlling project internal budgets, Develop systems to report actual cost of Manpower, Materials and Machines, Evaluation & cost control of projects and their analysis, monthly & annual profit / loss accounts. Corporate Head Office: Worked in the Management Systems and Planning Department (MSPD) of company’s Corporate Head Office and coordinated between various Project sites and Area offices spread all over Saudi Arabia and prepared the Monthly Project Progress Analysis for the review and approval of the Director-board of company.

Capital Projects Tendering & Evaluation of Contractor’s Bids, Raise Purchase Requisitions & Work Orders for Contracts Processing and execution.
Booking of Resources through IBM System Engineering Modules and Exercising Fiscal & Progress Monitoring of Projects and Contracts and Processing and Settlement of Sub-Contractor’s Invoice & Accounts.
Coordinated TQM (Total Quality Management) activities for the department.
