for commissioning, start-up, operation and maintains of Aboquir Fertilizer Co. Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Wastewater treatment plant with 15000 m3/d capacity and consist of the following stages:
•Equalization/Mixing/pH adjustment to 11
•Decalcification, suspended solids, and phosphate removal.
•Chemical-physical treatment for Ammonia removal comprising:
•Ammonia stripping with air.
•Sulfuric acid scrubbing of ammonia-laden air.
•Neutralization of the wastewater to pH 8.
•Biological De-nitrification for nitrate removal.
•Demineralization by Ultra-filtration (UF) and Reverse osmosis (RO).
•Equalization/neutralization of backwash water from UF.
•Discharge to sea for backwash/concentrate discharges from UF/RO.
•Gravity sludge thickener.
•Mechanical dewatering for biological sludge by belt filter presses on WWTP site.
•Sludge liquor pumping station.
•Chemical station for acceptance, storage and dosage of methanol, caustic soda,
sulfuric acid, ferric chloride and polyelectrolyte
•Service water booster station for plant self-supply.
•Mechanical sludge dewatering for the sludge from decalcification.
