• Reporting to the MD and managing operationally the personal line managers and call center manager.
• Ensure that all Retail risks are underwritten within the framework of the company’s underwriting philosophy, policy, authority limits and procedures and that the policy documents reflect the Company’s intention clearly and correctly.
• Manage all IT projects related to retail sales systems, with high level of involvement in both front end and back end system development ensuring it is aligned with the requirements.
• Leading the projects of ACIC Online Proposition of retail products and empowering online services e.g. Najm claim history and Yaqeen.
• Build, lead and implement the strategy and proposition of ACIC retail business in the kingdom by assuming responsibility of the core areas of retail offering including pricing, underwriting, portfolio management and product development.
• Working closely with the head of retail sales to build the strategic lines to secure business and enhancing the service level to satisfy major clients and agencies.
• Preparing a monthly Dashboards and conducting a quarterly self-audits & compliance and set the corrective action points (policy review, renewal retention review, schemes and channels performance review etc.).
• Successful management of the regular actuarial exercise in line with regulatory requirements by SAMA, resulting in timely products approval and full compliance.
• Liaise with other parties on technical aspects of product development and marketing campaign rollouts and initiate product training to relevant parties.
• Function as the key contact regarding all technical, growth, and budgeting and profitability matters in addition to assuming the responsibility of key related regulatory aspects in line with the requirements of SAMA.
• Manage the rollout of the new products including and working closely with business partners; providing effective technical support, guidance and training to sales forces.
A part time advisory at Council of Cooperative Health Insurance to build a national project (SHIP) linked insurance companies with health service providers.
• Administrate the core applications related to both medical and general line insurance.
• Leader of medical policies integrations with CCHI and providers.
• Leader of motor vehicle Insurance integrations with government affairs/Najm.
• Manage the relationships with external vendors and presenting the company in CCHI and Najm Company.
• Identify and propose business solutions. In addition to analyzing and identifying system errors as part of continuous enhancement process.
• Train users on applications e.g. medical, motor, marine.
• Generating SQL quires for MIS purpose as well as to update some oracle DB entries.
• Constantly interact with the senior management to advise and update the status of project portfolio, recourses planning and ensure smooth running of IT projects.
• Design a customized decision support reports which are used to measure the performance and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other IT support team in Gulf and the vendor in France and India.
• Recent projects that I have participated on are Data-center, Database Consolidation, Yaqeen for validating insured information with MOI, CCHI integration, business continuity and disaster recover.
• Monitor and analyze the financial markets and customer credit worthiness to ensure that the Bank is not exposed to undue financial risk and any non-performing loans/credits are highlighted and recovered.
• Analyzing and reading the financial statement to make sure that customer is eligible for the loan.
• Studying the market and the future prospective of the project related to the requested loan.
• Market researcher for prospective clients in Leads Unite of Sales department.
• Analyzing and mining for data which help and guide sales team to reach the prospective clients.
• Designed and coded a web based system that generates reports/lists of potential customers. These reports are used by portfolio managers of Bank’s branches. The system was called Leads Generation System (LGS) and build by ASP.Net /Visual Studio C#.
• Worked on Oracle ERP report system building reports (Delta) to support sales management.
